In the GW2 introduction, it stated that a senate have been formed to do with the complaints and occurring problems resulting form the appearance of the refugees. If players were allowed to run in the elections for Senate, then players could effectively have a voice in controlling the entire military might of the human race, which happens to be greatly diminished at this point.
- Why this is a good idea
- Great way to have fun through interacting with all of the players in the game.
- More opportunity to shape the future of the world
- Why it may not work out
- Getting players to know the canidates will not be an easy task
- Incorporating a way for new discussions on military matters will be problematic.
- Never let a human do a machine's job. Might be nice for the best guilds in the game to be awarded by some choices in say events in such a way, but that can be done more easily.
