Built in MP3 Player/ iTunes
Have an integrated media player, that interacts with any dynamic music system, allowing the player to deside what music they prefer, but still have it fit the ingame situation.
- Why this is a good idea
- Allows for a constant use of the game in fullscreen without having to switch windows every once in a while to change the player's settings.
- Why it may not work out
- May conflict with UI design.
- Players may want to use their own program.
- Would add uncessary use to gw servers.
Guild Bard
Have a Guild NPC that will play a song from your computer that will be played in ambience, so that when players come near the NPC they will be able to hear the same music.
- Why this is a good idea
- A way to share music with others
- An integrated music player reduces the need to switch screens
- Why it may not work out
- Players may upload a song that is unpleasant to hear, and can be played against the wish of some other unsuspecting player
- Other players will have to stream download the music while they listen to it, promoting lag issues
- Potential copyright issues.
