Blessed Light Blessed Light

Betrayed Tiaga's Issue

  • Issue: Not as useful as the other monk and needs a high spec to become useful
  • Suggestion: Heal Target Ally for 10...90 health and remove a condition and hex, if a condition or hex is removed that ally is healed for double that amount. I think this skill would become worth while, and although it sounds very powerful, keep in mind it needs a very high spec in divine (where very few "red bar goes up" or "Red bars stay up" skills are)and cost 2x the amount of WoH to heal less then WoH, but a TAD easier to manage the effect. (lets get serious and lets all admit that for a good monk that clause of the if target is under 50% is easy to meet)

Fish's Issue 17:34, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

  • Issue: Outshined elite and hard for general people to manage the energy, killing its bar compression and forces to take e-management and takes up as much space as before.
  • Suggestion: Heal target ally for 10...90 Health and remove one Condition, if target ally is suffering a hex, it is removed and heal additional 10...50 and recharges aditional 10....4 seconds and you loose 5 energy. 5e, 5 recharge 3/4 cast time.

Discussion

The only problem I have with this is there is a lot of skill involved in making sure you use this on someone who is hurt, with a hex and a condition, and this change really removes that overall skill, it would make it more playable but I think not in the way you want to encourage. Izzy @-'---- 02:25, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

I do think this suggestion is good and it is better to encourage this way (as you did with WoH and ZB) for a unused skill than not being used at all... A. von Rin 16:22, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Life Infusion's Issue (from talk pages) 15:03, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Issue
needs high divine favor to have a worthwhile heal (10...114...140 right now)
no reward for proper use
high energy cost and low recharge encourages heal spam
high heal for a bar compression skill balanced by 10 energy cost
bar compression doesn't work when it is signet of humility/d-shot bait (don't up to 1 cast time)
Suggestion
lower heal power by 30 or so, so it isn't used primarily as a heal (40...88...100 like Healing Light? or 20...92...110 or 30...102...120)
Heal target ally for 40...88...100 Health and remove one hex and one condition. You gain 3 energy if a hex is removed and 2 energy if a condition is removed. (10e, 4 recharge 3/4 cast time)"

The Sins We Die By's Issue

  • Issue: Energy Cost
  • Suggestion: Just make it 5 energy, see how it runs, do a revert and address.
I think a lot of people would like to see how this kind of bar compression being viable would be used. Humility and D-Shot would keep it in check and shut down player's too reliant on the skill alone.

72.138.13.180's Issue

Blessed Light

Energy Cost:5
Recharge: 5
Activation Time: 3/4

Spell. "Heal Target Ally for 40...88...100. If target ally is enchanted, also remove a condition and a hex."

-makes blight more conditional and difficult to achieve its full benefits

OR

Blessed Light

Energy Cost: 10
Recharge: 5
Activation Time: 3/4

Spell. "Heal target ally for 30...102...145 and remove a condition and a hex. If target ally was enchanted, gain 3 energy."

-just like the current blight, makes it a little easier on energy while upping the recharge

OR

Blessed Light

Energy Cost: 5
Recharge: 3
Activation Time: 3/4

Spell. "Heals for 10...114...140. Removes one condition and one hex. You lose 5 energy if hex is removed."

-more hero friendly

134.130.4.46's Issue

  • Issue: Everyone seems to think this needs a buff. ;)
  • Suggestion: Make it remove a hex, remove a condition and heal in that order. (Currently it's the exact reverse, while Empathic Removal already uses this order.) This would make it slightly better by overcoming healing reduction from hexes or deep wound and by countering Phantom Pain/Shrinking Armor/Hidden Caltrops.

Lancy's Proposal

Issue
-Cant compete with Peace and Harmony
-Hard to manage energy
-The order needs to be refixed to counter healing reduction conditions and hexes

Suggestion

-Healing has been reduced, refixed ordering and a clause that gives unconditional healing.

5 Energy¼ Activation time5 Recharge time - (Divine Favor) - Elite Spell. "Removes one hex and one condition. Heals for 20...96...115 Health."

I'm not sure if this is the place to do it, but I'll gladly second this idea. 128.255.216.144 22:00, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Energy cost is stupid

Issue
Energy cost
Suggestion
5e 3/4s 4r, reduce healing slightly.

The Sins's We Die By's Issue 19:56, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Issue
Energy cost is too high
Suggestion
5e, 5s recharge.

Durga Dido Proposal

Issue
Higher energy cost then other skill and no reward for proper usage.
Suggestion
10e 3/4c 5r Remove a Condition,a hex and heal for 20...115..155 if a hex was removed you gain 5 energy.

82.82.190.92's Proposal

Issue
After the december 11th 2008 update buffing a lot of hexes this skill needs a buff badly to help out single monks. It's perfect because slightly buffing this won't affect 8v8, because there are better alternatives for Monk elites in any thinkable way. Can't be abused by secondary classes because it's Divine Favor.
Suggestion
Just decrease energy to 5, voila. Perfect balance of hex removal, condition removal and medium healing, worth an Elite slot.

Would be a nice christmas present and might save gaming in small arenas.

OP, pls go lern what power creep is. -- NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 19:21, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
Do you think he will rather undo 20 overpowered elite buffs or just buff another elite skill? Hmmmm ... --82.82.169.100 15:06, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
TBH I'd rather have Anet nerf overpowered skills instead of buffing other skills just to catch up... Preferably not undo but bring stuff in line. This would probably take more time though :( Impaled 15:57, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Justice's Idea

issue
Great skill but there are too many more "tasty" options.
Suggestion

5 Energy¾ Activation time3 Recharge time

  • Remove 1 condition and hex. If neither a hex or condition is removed heal for 10...82...100.

Still a compression skill in that it removes 1 condition/hex. Is capable of healing aswell. In essence to get full effect you would need to cast it twice, hence 10e. May need a recharge increase since this is a divine favor healing skill. Divine favor + Smite prayers = Lamer pvp--Justice 10:42, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Ikimono (random IP's) Idea

Issue
Looked over now because of Peace and Harmony Buff, too costly to be able to use effectively.
Suggestion

5 Energy½ Activation time3 Recharge time

  • Heal Target ally for 10...74...90 If target ally is suffering from a Condition or Hex, target ally is healed an additional 10...46...55.
