This is something I have had to deal with too. I couldn't get my guild off the ground because people had the tendancy to leave before 24 hours were up. I just couldn't hold the guild together and still be able to enjoy the game. And your right about there being just to many guilds out there, with one being no better than the other. And I kinda like the idea of having people stick around for a set period of time, as joining a guild tends to cost the inviter more than the invited. Its unlikely this will be implemented though. --Will Greyhawk 16:59, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

You know what would be much better? Well in my opinion, If perhaps instead of that having a free invite for a day and then the option of paying 100g to keep the member if they like it. And to stop the abuse of re applying members for free constantly is to be only able to have this 'free' invite to that guild once per month per account. Any suggestions on that? I can't see a bad side, perhaps because i made it and am trying to avoid the flaws. So if you see problems post them ^^ Lt Death 17:00, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

I hate guild hoppers. I mean, why should I waste my money if your just going to quit a day later. Do your freaking homework about guilds.

There has to be someway to discourage people joining just to ask for stuff or joining just to annoy people. Mby have them pay to join that guild instead of you paying for then.

In response to the person saying that it should be free to recruit people. If that happened, people would abuse it and continuously send recruits to anyone they see if they are desperate enough or if they are just morons that want to make other people mad. --PCGamer07 20:43, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

True i didn't really think it through.. but i'd hate to be forced to stay in a guild for a week.. perhaps limitations of how often you can send an invite.. but in the odd senario where people accidently decline instead of accept it would be annoying. I don't know, but tbh the current system is, to say the best, rubbish. -Lt Death 16:28, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Maybe a cost to leave a guild before a certain time has passed would be better? No invite cost, so it is a deterrant for only the hoppers. 86.131.196.167 15:25, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
