Shard's Issue
Your point being? Dark Morphon(contribs) 10:54, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- Suppose he refers to skills like Dancing Daggers. Non-attack skill (in this case a spell) that counts as a lead attack. Though i can't figgure out why exactly these skills should be better on sin secondaries.... —ZerphaThe Improver 11:10, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
whats the point in having attack spells like DD and IP that are lead attacks if they need to follow an attack skill, the point of having them as a lead is that they can follow up with other attack skills, not the other way around, --Metal Sazz 03:04, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Maybe you were confused. Basically I want combos to have no more than one nonattack skill chained, so you absolutely have to use a dagger attack to finish a combo. ~Shard (talk) 12:11, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- That would be perfectly fine for many Deadly Arts bars...Iron Palm > Falling Spider/Lotus > some dual attack, probably Vampiric Assault > Impale. Fits exactly as your rules state. A lead attack spell followed by a dagger off-hand, with the post-dual skill following a dagger dual. 76.89.81.150 00:14, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
- Still don't see the problem. The skills are better on primaries, and when was the last time you saw Blinding Powder or Mantis Touch in play? PvE doesn't count, though they're rare there anyway. Asp- now that it's not a KD machine with Deadly Paradox, I see no problem with it. DD and IP are followed by dagger attacks, unless the DD is using entangling asp, which is a mediocre build after all the nerfs. Your suggestion also screws palm strike over even more than it is now, and I'd rather not make that skill any less appealing. --Kalas Silvern 00:49, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Kalas I don't think you see what my suggestion is doing. Also, DD combos are not better on sin primaries. Mesmers use it while spamming e-drain and e-tap, necros use it with toxic chill and signet of lost souls.
- Palm strike would remain unchanged because it was specifically designed to be a offhand chain opener. ~Shard (talk) 22:29, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
