This would completely outclass most elites in Healing Prayers right now. Lets see, it heals basically as much as Glimmer of Light, except it heals two people, removes two hexes and removes two conditions. The downside? 3/4sec longer cast and 6 more recharge (insignificant). Anyway, why does healing prayers need a hex/condition removal skill? A-net has obviously shown by their assignment of skills that its protection prayers that has condition removal skills in it. Giving one attribute the ability to keep a whole team alive (healing+hex removal+condition removal) kinda ruins balance a bit. Th fact that it heals up to 260 hp is already powerful enough. Thats more than WoH, except that it divides the healing among two people and it has double recharge. Sound balanced? This skill would basically become glued to every monk bar in the game. Compare to Blessed Light. Half energy cost. Double the effect (since it does it for two people not one). Double recharge. Wow, sounds real balanced, when in the same time you get the same effect, except for 1/4 of the energy! The reason why Blessed Light sucks but can't be buffed is because you cannot have one skill that efficiently does everything. This skill does everything a monk needs to do, except in one skill! Yay, you get 7 skills for energy management! Okay, really you only get 6, because you might need another heal when this one's recharging. So, we get a 2 skill bar that manages to achieve what right now it takes two monks to do, except slightly worse. Wow, real balanced.Crimmastermind 06:36, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- No one in the right mind uses glimmer because even WoH doesn't even come close to keeping up with the power creep in GW right now. Bad comparison is bad.Pika Fan 07:55, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, and buffing healing skills to keep up with power creep is good. If A-net does what ur suggesting (keep buffing healing, then buff damage to keep up with healing etc), then soon Guild Wars will be like WoW, with attacks doing 40k damage and spells healing like 50 million a pop. Nice game... we mite as well just add a few thousand zeroes onto everything. Sucumbing to power creep is bad. Get over it.Crimmastermind 19:59, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
