You are talking horrible bullshit... seriously -_- This is never going to be changed Ulkiges Ding 16:26, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- Its used on almost every monk bar except a WoH Bar. why would it need to be change? These "Balance attribute" sprees are stupid.. --Angelic Loki 08:50, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- I guess you both play only PvE, because I don't know any serious PvP (GvG) Monk build using this skill and it is absolutely under powered compared to Ritualists' Restoration spells (which are fine). Healing Prayers shouldn't have so many bad skills only because of Divine Favor. But I guess you won't get it in a thousand of years, which is annoying... A. von Rin 13:00, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- Healer's Boon is holding this skill back.

- Um, thats a joke. I would be willing to emote you any day, and I'm not ashamed of my champ title either. Pot shots at my rep are awesome. I'm also a primary monk, so I'll save you your breath with that as well. It's not used in GvG, because there is only really a need for 1-2 Healing skills, since you can get much more utility from a monk then healing, and Dwayna's is more efficient. It's used in HA and RA quite frequently, which is enough to prove that its balanced. Some teams prefer Patient, as do some guilds in Gvg. Either way, the skill sees enough high ranked use to deem it balanced. But, I guess you'd rather take pot shots at my reputation then agree to meaningful discussion. Shrug, just reflects on your reputation, not mine. --Angelic Loki 13:39, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- Sry for my aggressive answer, but when you say that nearly "every monk bar" uses this skill and call the suggestion on this basis "stupid", it is hard to think you are answering in a serious way and are not just trolling around here. Not to say what I think about "Ulkiges Ding", because I would get banned otherwise. And it is inferior to Patient Spirit btw. Ah, and I only suggested a conditional bonus on casting time and recharge - nothing else... Think about it instead of becoming aggressive. Thx and bye. A. von Rin 15:46, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hm, Patient is more energy efficient, but you get the healing immediately with Orison, which is why its slightly better. Patient is meant more as a pressure heal when your getting shut down or as a pro-active heal on the spike, but this heal can be used reactively to save someone. I really think that its a bread and butter skill for a healing bar unless your elite covers it, (as in the case with WoH or Glimmer), which is why its balanced. --Angelic Loki 05:20, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- It's only used by bad players in HA. Being used in RA means nothing, EVERYTHING is used in RA. In HA, players use Patient Spirit. It heals for more and is now affected by Healer's Boon. There's no reason to use Orison anywhere, when Patient completely outshines it. 76.89.81.150 23:02, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
This skill is fine as it currently is. What do you expect for the non-elite version of "Glimmer of Light?"William Wallace 20:26, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Glimmer of Light is severely underpowered compared to WoH, thats why people are complaining about both Glimmer AND Orison.152.226.7.213 08:50, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- I still say blame healer's boon.
Neither this skill, nor Glimmer of Light will ever be changed in functionality, because they're meant to be the generic conditionless heals. Orison may or may not see use in high end PvP, this is irrelevant, because it will always have a function in its current form to new players who are just learning to Monk, and one needs a straight up heal to balance the tree around. - Build Wars is not supposed to be balanced around noob builds. Have a nice day.
Its a simple skill thats spammable. Perfect as is since its not too weak and its not overpowered. ~100 heal on a reg divne/healing monk. I use this on my HB tahlkora and it turns into a nice spammable heal thats hard to interupt. This skill has zero negative aspects like the other main healing prayers skills(non-elite). Can target self, not halfrange, not 10e, not 5sec recharge(not even 3sec...) and no heal delay(pateint spirit).--Justice 06:47, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
