Epinephrine's Discussion

While Izzy said elsewhere that removing the ability to attack isn't fun, the Pacifism type skills are weak due to their ease of removal. Given that casters can be shut down by interrupts and energy denial (or by diversion) I see no issue with a few ways to shut down the automatic damage dealt by attackers. The specific change to make it damage from party rather than damage prevents its removal by NPCs, environmental effects like acid traps and so on - namely effects that one can't prevent from dealing damage - you can warn your team and try to play around it, but you can't stop an NPC from attacking. --Epinephrine 20:25, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

this needs to be moved to smiting first, and then turned into a non-hex skill with a low duration and mediocre reload. Currently, it is just too fragile to be used. File:Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 File:Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 14:44, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
This should be changed into an enchantment to fit into Protection Prayers. Something like that: "Enchantment Spell. For 2...7...8 seconds, target ally cannot be attacked by foes. This effect ends if target ally deals or takes damage. (EDIT:) If this skill ends prematurely, it recharges instantly." *5 Energy *1 Activation *10 Recharge. Wouldn't be abusive on Spikes. A von Rin... "Effects ends if target ally takes damage"?!?? so all they have to do is cast any dmg spell and its pretty much gone? thats pretty crappy 76.26.189.65 23:20, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Well, it does stop a full on spike cold... How about, you gain 3 energy if this skill ends prematurely? NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 09:44, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
It should maybe recharge instantly instead of giving you energy, if it ends prematurely. What do you think? And yes it is not the best change, but still better than now. ;) A. von Rin 13:36, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
I'd like energy gain more, personally, on my monk. NUKLEAR User NuclearVII signature 3.jpgIIV 20:52, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
