This is another one of those skills that should be left dead. Lightblade 21:00, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

This skill was intended to be your hard res to get you through Ascalon. GG. -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png 06:37, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Not nly that, but the proposed change sucks. A better option would be to move it to prot, and add the clause "...and that ally takes 60 less damage for 5 seconds". File:Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg nuke7 File:Nuclear7 sig image2.jpg 16:30, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Energy to 5, health restored to 50%, energy restored to 25%. Usable skill. ~Shard (talk / Nerf List) 23:33, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

well, keep in mind it isn't touch range nor half range. --Life Infusion «T» 16:05, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Then make it that. At least then it would be a usable res.--The Gates Assassin 23:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
What about making the health and energy scale with Divine Favor or Healing Prayers? -- Gordon Ecker 06:33, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Linking it to Divine Favor is okay. It can be 25%..50% life and 0..25% energy, but 25% hp must be the minimum to let others use it. Gelei 11:30, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
That would be terrible. Then only monks can take it as a res, and monks never take reses. AND other profs would still have the same shitty res.--The Gates Assassin 11:46, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
This skill is aweful as it is, and worse because so many new people see it and think "Oh, a cheap hard res which needs no attribute points. Great!" when actually its awefulness make it nowhere near worth the fact that it's re-useable. At the very least it should be faster to cast (or get buffed health and energy). --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:86.27.136.194 (talk).
Unless a res has a really really good secondary effect like Rebirth, 25% energy is just not enough. 0 energy is just overkill.--The Gates Assassin 01:23, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
no no no, u've got it all wrong, this is one of the core skills like orison of healing that's meant to be bad. it's more for PVE, even if any other rez is better at 0 heal/protection. --Cancer Angel y so srs? 06:34, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
and why is it good that core skills should be left shitty? They should at least buff this skill so it actually competes with any of the other rez. Right now, Rebirth is far superior to this at 0 attribute, because it resurrects them at your location, and has the same energy cost, cast time and has no recharge. Sure, it disables all their skills, but which primary monk ever took this skill? Which primary anything ever took this skill? Just because it was designed for monks to go through early game as the only available hard rez doesn't mean it should suck. I think that this skill should remain underpowered, but not overly so. Right now Rez Sig is way more useful than this anywhere, because this skill is basically a waste of a skill slot. My idea is that this should stay high energy cost and really shitty rez stats, but make it the fastest casting rez in the game. Make it 2 cast time, or even 1. That way it is worth sacrificing your secondary for. Let warriors or something bring this skill to quickly get fallen party members back, and WoH them so they don't die. That way it actually competes for a skill slot.Crimmastermind 06:45, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
rebirth is shit, it cost all energy and disables the rezzed ally's skills for about 5 sec. and the upper side is no recharge (which doesnt matter as ur energy is on 0 and would take exactly 8 sec to get 10 to use it again lol) and teleport (which is only useful in well, pve farming). aside from that, this skill is meant to fill the place of an unconditional hardrez, while it isn't that awesome, remember that all skills aren't meant for GvG/HA or even PvP/high end PvE at all. it's not that i can't see a small buff to it, it's just that changing it's functionality would just be terrible. --Cancer Angel y so srs? 09:54, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
