Event stack
From Guild Wars Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to search
The event stack refers to the order in which events (skill activation, attack damage, health gain, etc.) resolve once triggered. In general, the order in which an event occurs directly relates to the order it resolves.
Examples[edit]
- Fragility deals damage after the application and removal of conditions.
- Spirit Bond and Protective Spirit: Spirit Bond triggers on the original damage amount before Protective Spirit reduces the damage.
- Preparations are removed after the cast of a replacement preparation, but before the new preparation activates. For example, the +0...2...2 Wilderness Survival from Trapper's Focus will apply to a cast of Apply Poison.
