Mapquest ™[edit]
Allow accounts in which any character has earned the title of Legendary Cartographer to place a quest marker wherever they like on a mission map.
- This makes it easier for characters to navigate to an arbitrary spot on the map.
- By marking towns and outposts, this makes it easier for characters to reach them for unlocking purposes.
Background[edit]
Legendary Cartographer is one of the most tedious titles to earn (no matter how one goes about it). Unfortunately, it's also tedious to simply navigate to certain spots on the map (particularly in the Kaineng City area, Arborstone, Tangle Root, and The Falls). Placing a quest marker on the map won't solve all the issues around mapping, but it will solve the worst ones.
Arguably, this feature could be made available to all players. And I'm sure many will argue that ANet shouldn't add new rewards for titles.
