Notes[edit]
- Flesh Golem does not suffer from minion degeneration.
- Flesh Golem is considered a Fleshy creature.
- Flesh Golem uses the same interface as an Animal Companion
- Pet skills do not effect the Flesh Golem
- Flesh Golem statistics (Health, Armor, and Damage) are consistent with their old functionality.
- The Flesh Golem does not count towards your minion cap.
Explanation[edit]
To make this skill more appealing to players I believe that the Flesh Golem should be counted as a pet. It should not suffer from the degeneration that minions do and the necromancer should have control over which target it attacks and how it acts through the use of a control panel (similar to that of the pet). Should the necromancer choose to use this skill alongside a Ranger Animal Companion the effectiveness of that animal companion will be reduced as to avoid imbalance. Pet attacks will NOT effect the Flesh Golem in any way and the Golem should be seen as an extension of the Necromancer, rather than a spell. All damage, health, and armor that a Flesh Golem gets at their respective levels should remain the same. The damage penalty applies only to the Necromancer's pet, not his/her allies.
