Your comments got removed because you were changing other people's comments rather than simply posting your own. That is not allowed. You can post what you want, but you can't change other people's comments. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 05:25, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

Tx a.net for changing MoR back, it seems the players are listened to after all. I'm glad a.net at least understands that farming is one of the few after storyline / endgame things left to do for us longtimers. Also if you wanna go for the grinding titles you will know you need to farm to fund it, no normal gameplay can reward you enough. TBH this is a good thing. The problem is that when it comes to making the game easier (gimmicks,OP skills) anet will instantly help players. But when it comes to actually do the right thing and get rid of big problems they just ignore the community Lilondra User Lilondra Sig.jpg*poke* 07:12, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
First, they nerf MoR-related farming in PvE and MoR-related interrupt prevention in PvP. Then they revert it for PvE after weekend. Now MoR remains very unuseable in PvP, while it still can be used in PvE for imbafarming.
Now, why not simply make the duration 20 seconds, so you could still have reasonable, conditional interrupt prevention with serious downside in PvP? No need to split skills if you can actually balance a single skill. Mediggo 07:26, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
It would be interesting to know why they changed it back. I don't think the change to PvE was farming-relating, because MoR extended beyond farming. It would be nice to know if they changed it because of community outcry; buckling to community pressure usually takes Arenanet longer than a few days, perhaps they noticed a change in the way numbers of players were playing the game. Or, if this was more of a self-realisation on Arenanet's part; perhaps they saw it, in terms of PvE, as too much of a hit. ~~000.00.00.00~~ 07:52, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
TBH I would have preferred they kept it the same. Signalled an end to an era, and like it might set a tone for coming updates. Oh well, back to the drawing board. LunchboxOctober 09:05, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
If you think that is the case Lilondra than Ursan Blessing wishes to have a word with you. Also I heartily lol'd raged at the farmer thinking he deserves to have his complaints heard about how MoR nerf hit his farms. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә & ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 21:16, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
Did you check my FoGB (previous linking to idiot but I changed it) USerbox ? OHAI ITS URSAN.I hate ursan as much as you did.I'm just saying that anet is just so likely to make it easier for peeps. Most of the time it needs to be able to solo all areas at a unseen ... WAIT A MINUTE Lilondra User Lilondra Sig.jpg*poke* 04:29, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks guild wiki for removing all of my comments. You and anet know im freaking right. -1337cshacker --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.145.195.91 (talk).

hey, fuck you, you quit narb -1337cshacker

speaking as a Mesmer...[edit]

First of all thx Anet for reverting this at least for PvE. Secondly, IF the intention was to suppress some farming builds, I would have moved it to the Fast Casting attribute line and keep same old stats... --|pixy| 08:19, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

or if the change was intended for VoR builds in PvP areas, i would make VoR a litle more comparable to Backfire[15energy,3casting,30recharge], as both deal massive damage and are nasty to most classes. However, if Mantra of Resolve really was the "core" problem, i'm sure there is a way around it other than almost removing it from game use, like pixy mentioned above, perhaps move it to Fast Casting attribute, and if it doesn't help tweak it so its still maintainable but dificult to use[ say more energy loss?]. No need for such a harsh change. The pve was a good idea tough. 87.210.226.105 10:21, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

I don't even see how the pvp version needed nerfing, once you attempt to inter a few or one times it ends, has a long recharge with high energy cost. A monk with the old mantra had no chance against me. -1337cshacker --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.145.195.91 (talk).

SW[edit]

Hi A.Net. Is it possible that we can get a revert of the original PvE Splinter Weapon? Just a thought. - Chrisworld 03:44, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

This has nothing to do with this update. If you have a skill suggestion you would like ArenaNet to consider, use the suggestion system that has been created. Go to the Feedback portal to see get started. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 03:49, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

They won't do it. Unless everyone on guild wars, or all monks (who get special the shit treatment) bitch simultaneously, they won't. Sad ape net. -1337cshacker --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 98.145.195.91 (talk).
