The Hall of Memories... yet instanced, enhanced and more accessible.[edit]

And the Hall of Memories is partly an answer to your prayers. But as far as partially seen in the press beta events, it is a not instanced... and if there is one area that would be nice to stay instanced in a persistent world, it would be that one.

In the original game, on top of the Isle of the Nameless, the Churrhir Fields (Nightfall, next to Kamadan) also host some welcoming practice targets and NPCs trainers (explanation on game mechanics). While the Shing Jea Monastery (Factions) has the tablets of Wisdom and many skill-earning quests that would introduce players (old and new) to the refinements of the system.

Like the Home instance in GW2, a personal training area where you could still bring friends/team would be a wonderful addition to PvP. And would allow more players to step in and start their path to master the combat system (PvE included, since except for the racial skills, everything is the same).

I'm not sure if it should actually be part of the guild halls, the backyard of your local broadcasting taverns/halls (observer mode system I still have to provide my own suggestion on) or both. ^^ Be it to warmup before tournaments, try some fancy stuff, combos, learn the effects (boons, conditions, control) or basically to hone one's skills and "know what you're doing" before actual fighting starts.

Still what I know, it's that it should be in the game rather fast (sooner is better, I mean before the game starts, as a preview weekend it would be great). Naturally, this step would always be optional, like the Team Trials and the pvp-oriented quests provided by Zenjal (the Zaishen Guide)... and we all know that though very welcomed and needed, they came too long after the original game release to help the pvp there to be more than it is. -- User Leonim Sig.jpg Leonim [talk·contribs] 18:27, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
