Why do you want to nerf the mind spells? And why do you want to give Kinetic Armor an extreme buff? Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 16:20, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Adding half of the conditon damage to the uncondition side, plus keeping the exhaustion part in the conditional side only, i would think it would better for time when your low on energy but still need the damage. and kinetic armor well i want it more in line with the other ele defensive spell, --BobbyT 17:13, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

If you are low on energy as an ele, you are doing something wrong. About kinetic, it reduces all armor-reduced damage by 3/4 (at 15 earth), and by reducing the CT to 1 second it will be reliable enough to maintain it. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 10:12, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
maybe, but you are using an exhaustion spell, and depending what type pressure your getting (interuppts, attunements getting strip, energy denial) having low energy and exhaustion sucks. my idea only gives you exhaustion if the condition is met which makes the times when your is crap easier.
my biggest thing with KA is the 8 second bit, 8 second is a bit short and i do feel 10 second is better. plus this is more like the first thing to get stiped, so thats why i brought the recharge down--BobbyT 22:21, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Mind skills are fine. No need to nerf em. I would say that if you really wanted to increase the unconditional damage, you could just decrease the conditional damage with the same amount. I don't see why you want to buff these defensive Elementalist skills, Kinetic Armor may actually get overpowered and those other two are barely changed. At any rate, these defensive skills are something I'd rather not see in-game. Second Wind is a great idea, give it an energy gain and it's worth using. Makes it roughly on the level of Glyph of Energy if you do the numbers right. Star Burst is also a pretty nice idea, recharge is a bit on the high side though. How about 20 recharge? Over-all, some nice idea's here but also some unnecessary changes. Dark Morphon 13:49, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

i thought of doing that with the mind skill, just been lasy to do so, 60->30 is a minor change, i thought that would be a hugh change for a the aura, considering that you now use it more often. i don't mind seeing a buff to these kinds of skill as long as you have a recharge for the effect. unlike certian Panic button move. Not bad for your idea for Second wind, and 25 sec i don't think is bad for star burst considering that most of your dot spells are on a 25+sec recharge as well, but i'll reduce it and see what happens.

I would give Second Wind direct energy gain instead of additional maximum energy (or, of course, let it give the energy when it ends alongside with the additional maximum energy). Kinetic Armor is a skill you have to be careful with when buffing. It's already a very powerful skill that sees ocassional use in Random Arenas and PvE in general (lolPvE), a buff like this one would pretty much mean it'd become the meta for Earth Magic tanks as it's now not only powerful but also easy to cast. I'm fine with your other changes. Dark Morphon 15:05, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
The + max energy to Second Wind would make more sense lore wise tbh. a second wind to me means you have more energy and can do more without exerting yourself more then you normally would. after which you lose that energy and become tired. thats how i feel this skill should be. and i'll increase the number on KA and see where it can go.--BobbyT User BobbyT BobbyT Sig.jpg 02:09, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
You should do whatever pleases you but I think energy gain would definitely be more useful than more max energy. Dark Morphon 09:57, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
