What part of the idea you don't like? Is the PvE skills allowed part? The whole idea? That it would be a fourth hero? talk Qaletaqa Hania 20:57, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
"YEAWH WEH NEED MOAR AIMBOTZZZ BECAUSE WE FAIL SO HARD IN PVEEEEEEE AND WE WANT HEROES TO DOO EVERYFING FOR US!..." <-the suggestion in a sentence. Sorry Qaletaqa. No more heroes are needed. PvE is even now mind numblingly easy. --Boro 10px‎ 21:03, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
So Boro, how long does it take to get a full party of humans that aren't terrible at playing the game, won't disconnect, leave or go afk in an empty outpost? Maybe there are people who don't wanna fail because other people fail in the party because those people.... don't listen if you give advice, go afk, leave in the middle of a mission, disconnect or just beeing assholes. Ow right you are gonna tell me I should search for a good guild. Give the people who wanna play with heroes well.... heroes, and if you wanna play with people well go play with people. It's not about: ""YEAWH WEH NEED MOAR AIMBOTZZZ BECAUSE WE FAIL SO HARD IN PVEEEEEEE AND WE WANT HEROES TO DOO EVERYFING FOR US!..."" it's more about "WEH DONT WANNA FHAIL BECAUSE OF OTHER PHEOPLE"
If you ever open a business would you hire people who don't do their jobs? talk Qaletaqa Hania 21:35, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Stop failing. Nearly every mission is possible with the current henchmen and heroes, even moreso after the Chiyo buff. If you need new heroes that can use pve skills, get out of hard mode, because it is obviously too hard for you even with aimbots, quad damage and homing snipers. I added an alternate idea, thoughts about that? talk Qaletaqa Hania 21:02, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

I like the idea of traveling with other characters of mine, but in the end this is just more Heroes on crack, and is unnecessary. I'd sooner vote for 7 hero teams rather than this.-- User Vanguard VanguardLogo.pnganguard 21:03, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Did you read the alternate idea? would not be Heroes on crack then, would be like a regular hero but with the name, looks and armor from one of your characters. talk Qaletaqa Hania 21:47, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Because 6 necro teams are not enough. You absolutely need 7... Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 15:02, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
I would like 7 heroes but then this would turn into a single player game played in an online world, so no. But I know why people would want that, my personal oppinion is because when more people are involved there is more room for error, because they don't listen and because I have no control of their actions, with heroes I do. It's not because they are aimbots and do everything for us like Boro said. They don't do everything for us, one thing you need to do is move so they will follow you wich is the absolute minimum you have to do, they also respond to calls and goto where you want them to be. talk Qaletaqa Hania 21:22, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
But then, why would you want an even bigger pool of heroes (there are 26 in the game at the moment) to do basically the same as you are doing now. Are you aware that something like this will take ages to program while it has no effect on the game?
Also, it is quite funny that you say heroes do not do everything for you but basically contradict yourself in the sentence thereafter: one thing you need do is is move them and they kill stuff for you while you afk. Koda User Koda Kumi UT.jpeg Kumi 22:57, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
You ask why I would want a bigger pool of heroes? You could play with heroes that have the name, looks, profession and armor of one of your characters. It would also give everyone unique heroes. It would have an effect because some professions only exist twice as a hero.
And you know what a contradiction is right? When I say that they do not do EVERYTHING for you, I mean everything. The player has to atleast do something like move or put the flag somewhere.
Also,"one thing you need do is is move them and they kill stuff for you while you afk."
I didn't say that, I said: "They don't do everything for us, one thing you need to do is move so they will follow you wich is the absolute minimum you have to do, they also respond to calls and goto where you want them to be."
I see no afk in my part, yes they kill stuff but only when you move them to the creeps by walking there or putting a flag. talk Qaletaqa Hania 11:50, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

I Like It[edit]

I actually came here to make this suggestion. Glad I checked if it was already there. :)
I prefer the alternate idea since allowing PvE only skills would be too powerful (heck PvE only skills on my bar already feels like cheating).
I'd keep them behaving almost exactly like regular heros. i.e. They can only use the skills that are unlocked on the active character.
You could make them available right after doing Command Training or Hero Tutorial but then cap their levels to that of the active player.
Yes this would allow you to get three Mesmer, Assassin, etc. heroes but I fail to see that being a major difference.
Essentially I just want to be able to play with a group of my characters at once. No gameplay difference. Just heros with the skins and names of my other character. Fenyx 01:27, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

I'm glad you like it :). talk Qaletaqa Hania 14:27, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
I came here to make this suggestion too. The characters could be just like henchman (no need of PvE skills). I like a lot the idea of traveling with other characters.Klaum 22:22, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

What? Yes it has been done.[edit]

Great to see I'm now able to do this :D, mission accomplished. Qaletaqa Hania talk 00:30, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Well the idea is not entirely the same but i'm happy with it. Qaletaqa Hania talk 00:34, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Congrats! Well done! Fenyx 14:32, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
