History

FUR was created with the arrival of the Nightfall so that it could benefit from the new Guild Halls that became available. Most of the original members came from a previous guild, where a number of us had been unhappy and set about to create something new and different. FUR aimed to be a place were players could have fun and relax, as well as finding other experienced players to help them out in times of need and to that end, the guild has remained true. FUR is a friendly place and more often than not, there is one conversation or another going on in guild chat. Most of the original guild members are still part of the guild, forming the core, and have been with Guild Wars since the early days. Many more still came with the arrival of Factions. We are fast approaching out second birthday.

Activities

FUR tries hard to involve its players, always encouraging guild chat and full use of the guild forum. We try to meet up at least once a month to have a friendly IC get-together, the FUR Meet, where everyone can get to interact with the other guildies and maybe play some friendly scrimmage. There is also the monthly vote for the FUR Champions and FUR Heroes who will become the guild officers for that month. There are two of each and this is a position of honour and prestige, as well as giving everyone a fair chance of being an officer for a time. Everyone who becomes a Champion or Hero has their IC names recorded on the forum Hall of Heroes. [2] FUR is mostly a PvE guild and often work together in challenging areas, as well as organising Hunts for reputation points, be it Norn, Dwarf or Sunspear.
