Guild Information

Medieval Lords is a Dutch guild with a big History, The guild was set up mainly to PvE, later it would end up in PvP. Medieval Lords has 6 Parts, each part ends with the guild dying and everyone leaving, the next part starts when old friends want to bring it back to live again.

Part 1

It all started from here, the point of Medieval Lords 1 was to have fun in playing GW and the main focus was on PvE the main core existed out of Golden Guard (The first leader, He quit playing GW and if im correct he now focusses on other RPG's) Dark Beserker (he has quit GW now and plays WoW), Sev Hunter (He still plays GW and mainly focusses on PvP), Arrow Killer (He also still plays GW and mainly focusses on PvE), Rez Rez (He also quitted GW and now plays WoW) and Shadow Warrior NL (he also quitted GW and is mainly a Multigamer playing all sorts of games). The maximum amount of members in Medieval Lords was i think (cant remember it that well) around 50. The guild died because of inactivity of some of the core members.

Part 2

After a while some members started playing GW again, and we have always kept the guild intact, for example at this very moment Rez Rez and Shadow Warrior NL are still maintaining Medieval Lords (it is still alive but just with 2 inactive ppl in it to keep the guild intact and not delete it) this is why Medieval Lords is so special it never got deleted it always remained intact by several inactive players and it was always waiting to be revived by the core members. Part 2 was also a main focus on PvE we tried a bit of PvP but it didnt work out that well, this + again inactivity of some members killed Medieval Lords 2.

Part 3

After a while Medieval Lords 3 was set up, mainly by Sev, Rez and Arrow. Shadow, Guard and Dark left GW after Part 2 and since then they never really played it anymore. Medieval Lords 3 was more PvP based but also had a bit of PvE flavour this because the guild had around ~80 members. we tried to HA en GvG alot but we also liked to farm a bit in FoW or UW. Medieval Lords 3 also had their own Lotto which was helt every week, The prizes were different each times and were mainly Greenies, upgrades and gold, This lotto was very succesfull and increased the activity/sphere. Because we wanted to focus more on PvP but we had alot of PvE players we decided to make a other PvE guild; Medieval Farmers we transfered all PvE players from Medieval Lords to Medieval Farmers and we kept Medieval Lords for the PvP players. Unfortunatly it didnt work well with Medieval Farmers, alot of players were inactive and we didnt had a really good leader for it. Medieval Lords also died a little later because of inactivity and it wouldnt work out with the PvP, we lost a lot and people left the guild.

Part 4

Very shortly after Medieval Lords 3 died, Medieval Lords 4 was set up. This was a real PvP based Guild with no PvE in it. the core existed out of: Sev Hunter (Leader) Rez Rez, Arrow Killer, Ne Rd and Qinox. we had a nice group of PvP players and we made it into the top 1000, our best rank was ~600 in GvG. But after a while we needed new members and it didnt rly work out, people were complaining and everyone was like: "this is not going to work" so we all decided to leave and go our own way: Arrow: PvE, Sev, Ne Rd and Qinox: PvP, Rez: WoW. We had great times with Medieval Lords, and maybe one day it will be ressurected again :) but atm only the future knows.

Part 5 - The Interval

After a while Rez wanted to play again and wanted to give it a try to set up the guild again, unfortunatly Rez wasn't active enough to really "get things going" so the guild became inactive again for like half a year. This is what we call "The Interval"

Part 6

Since the beginning of june 2008 Sev, Rez, Shiver (Also a player who was involved in part 4 from Medieval Lords), Aervar (A player who was involved in Part 2/3 of ML) and Melisade X (Another player who was involved in part 4 from Medieval Lords) started to play GW again. This because of the many changes the GW Team implemented, and also because of GW2 that is coming closer and closer ^^. At this point (while im typing) we haven't set things up yet, we want to try and make a GWEN Instance/TA - AB Guild of it so a little mix between PvE and Instant Action PVP. Because if it's one thing that is annoying about GW, its the long waiting times when you try and set up a GvG or HA party. So who knows, let's hope MLIV will become a big succes again like in the old days =]

Further Information

Guild Hall

Medieval Lords still has a Oldskool Guilhall, the hall costed us 80k and we bought it in the Medieval Lords 1 period. The funny thing about this was that we put all the money from all the members together (which wasnt that much) to buy a Hall, luckely 1 day (i can remember it very well if im correct it was on a Sunday) I started up GW and checked the Sigil trader, i was shocked when i saw the Sigil price at 90k (normally it was 100k x_X) so I told all members to collect all money so we could buy a GH because they were in a discount. After searching for cheaper ones (so no NPC Traders but Real players) we found one for 80k and we bought it. The guildhall we bought in that time and still have is the Warrior's Isle.

The guild is being kept alive by 2 inactive core members. Rez Rez and Shadow Warrior NL They will keep the guild intact, untill it will be revived.
