MAFB is currently eagerly awaiting the release of GW2 and will hit the ground running at its release. Many of our players are still on but activity has slowed as halls have been fleshed out. Look for our members at the release of GW2 as most of us will be in line when it releases.

MAFB is always looking to recruit loyal people as members to share a mix of PvE, PvP, and social activities. The core focus of MAFB has always been the focus on building a large family that shares trials and tribulations. This helps us become better friends and better players.

Are you interested in becoming a member? . Are you currently in a guild but still have not found the guild experience you had in mind? Do you have an established Kurzick guild and have an interest in joining the Starvin Chillin Alliance(SCA)? Maybe MAFB or the SCA is the place for you. Members

All new members of MAFB or SCA are recruited on a basis of a 2 week trial period for members and 30 days for Guilds. This gives our existing members’ time to get a feel for your game style or the gaming habits of your Guild. You try us out..We try you out.. After the probationary period you are part of the family.

• Members to MAFB must have a positive attitude towards GW gaming. MAFB members are willing and able to lend a hand in all facets of the game. We are helpful to our established members and new recruits alike. Caught in a rut with a tough quest or mission always seeming just out of reach? Pug groups got you down? Tired of seeing “Your party was defeated…your leader may return you to outpost”? We will gather to assist…What we ask in return is that you “Pay it Forward”… In short…you get help today…tomorrow someone else may be sounding a rally call….Help em’ out in turn. This practice fosters an environment where everyone has a better gaming experience and every effort is made to heed the call if available. In most cases help is just a call away. If members are busy at the time you call we will try to set something up when members finish up what they have their boots stuck in at the moment. Also register a username and utilize our website forum pages to set up quest/mission gatherings.

• Members are encouraged to maintain a reasonably active in game presence. If we are not active the Guild and SCA suffers. Life gets busy and as everyone knows there is not always time to sit in front of the tube hacking away at Guild Wars all night. Players with a 2 month inactivity time will be kicked from MAFB but immediately sent an invite so that if time permits and they resume regular game play if they choose to they can return to MAFB. Exceptions to this rule are sometimes granted. See your Officers or Guild Leader if you need this consideration.

• Members sought as well as active members of MAFB and SCA range in age from teens to adults and come from all walks of life. Age is not a prerequisite to membership, however maturity level is… We expect and maintain a player base that conducts themselves with an honorable game presence.

• Foul Language, Racial Slurs, Sexual Harassment etc. is not tolerated and will result in a drop from guild if it becomes an issue. PG-13 rating is advised.

• These rules are mainly just the basics that all clean healthy guilds should utilize to gather together members of like qualities to form an extended gaming family.

In addition to the USA our SCA members hail from around the world with members in England,Greece, Australia + others. We are International.

Activities

MAFB, and its fellow alliance guilds, conduct raids into high-level areas (DoA, The Deep, Urgoz's Warren, FoW, UW) on the weekends, and regular missions/quests during the week. We also have guild-and alliance-wide events.

2011 opens with the anticipation of the GW2 release sometime soon hopefuly. As with most Guilds currently there is alot of flux as people take short breaks to get in some "other" game time awaiting the GW2 release. MAFB and SCA has the intent to carry over into GW2 as soon as it releases so we will have a presence in both games. Ww will have to evaluate the Alliance system and features of GW2 and see if we need to adjust any but our intent is to Grow into a large presence as the new game unfolds.

For the 2011 year, MAFB has set forth several goals that we want our guild to accomplish.

SCA is Proficient at Clearing the following:

• Fissure of Woe NM and HM
• The Deep NM and HM
• Urgoz Warren NM and HM

We wish to add the following to our Warchest

• Master The Altered Underworld Clearing without failz-Ongoing~ Complete a few times but still not smooth
• Win a battle in the Hall of Heroes once-Ongoing
• Clear Slavers Exile-Ongoing~complete
• Clear DOA without ending up DOA-Ongoing~ half way through,the Gloom owns us still.

We remain with a small active core. Still in the trenches. In the Jade pits and abroad. ever waiting, ever anticipating new adventures to come.. Get it on already Anet..We want some GW2..!!

1. Develop an entirely new and Improved Website for MAFB/SCA members.-Complete.

2. MAFB/SCA record for Full Non-Speed clear clearing FOW to Chest 1hr-54mins! Job Well Done!!

3. Build Mafb roster by adding Good Members and Alliance mates. Now On-going!
