The Asgard started its life on 21 May 2005. It was started by Chris Shield. Chris is still part of the guild, but no longer active. The cape design is still by Chris though.

On 24th May 2005 a new guild member joined, one who is still active in the guild, Faile Kalles. On 2nd July 2005 the current leader joined, Dark Forest Bow.

Also that year two other great members joined, Sanzo Hajime and Arche Angell

Already from the beginning the guild members are friends to each other. This really is the best part of The Asgard. We are not hardcore gamers but friends. We will not insult people for badly playing Guild Wars (normally known as 'noobs'). We are not nationality based, people from every country can join.

Our first hall was the Isle of the Dead one. Later we got Warrior's Isle and since July 2009 we got Isle of Solitude.

The Asgard is a Luxon guild, but we are not in an alliance yet and mainly do PvE. Sometimes we do PvP, but thats not worth mentioning.

Although we got 18 members we only got a few active ones. Most active at this moment are Dark, Arche, Sanzo and Faile.

Goals

• Friendship above everything.
• Helping each other with quests etc.
• Having fun together!
• Finish all the campaigns
• Looking forward to Guild Wars 2 with The Asgard!
• We are open to all suggestions and changes in the guild.

Recruitment

We want people who are friendly and willing to help other guild members. Also do not expect too much on alliance/PvP area.

Other then that, everyone can join!
