The Cardboard Tube Samurai was established because of the breakdown of the House of Phoenix guild or "[HOP]" as it was commonly referred to. Penny Arcade is an amazing comic, and should be read by all people of the earth. The Hound of Dover set out with a plan, and that plan was to convey a message to all the players of Guild Wars. The Cardboard Tube Samurai would be a a fun and active guild that would help each other and prosper greatly. After about a year, The Hound of Dover was running low on gold, so he sold his guild for chump change, around 15k (members, alliance, hall, everything). It was a big mistake on his part, and it is said that one day, he will regain power over the guild, and lead his samurai army into battle once again.
Although a small guild, it has plans to recruit more and become much more active in the Guild Wars community.
