--The History--

It all started around five years ago when I, Malek first stumbled upon a PS1 game called "Soul Reaver". From the very first minutes of the game I realized that I have never encountered anything like it. Though the gameplay wasn't Extremely amazing, the plot carried me to a completely different World, the Glorious, Dark world of Nosgoth, a world full of Treachery and Lies, a world of Vampires and long forgotten Demons. Addicted from Soul Reaver I kept playing the other games until I finished them all. As intriguing as it sounds, this is not a review of the Legacy of Kain series, but the Story of the Guild to which this site belongs. Around a year ago I got Guild Wars along with two friends of mine, one of them is Uthrul. We started playing and got carried away to the majestic world of Guild Wars, We wanted to start a guild, and we couldn't think of a name. Then we found something we both adored, the Legacy of Kain series. Many names ran through our heads, many ideas were thrown away, when eventually THE idea came, "the Guardians of the Pillars". The Pillars of Nosgoth. The source of life, without which the land would be corrupted and destroyed. These Structures, nine in number, each representing a concept, and each protected by its own guardian. The nine pillars and the names of their guardians are:

MIND, guarded by Nupraptor

DIMENSION, guarded by Azimuth

CONFLICT, guarded by Malek

NATURE, guarded by Bane

ENERGY, guarded by Dejoule

TIME, guarded by Moebius

STATES, guarded by Anacrothe

DEATH, guarded by Mortanius

BALANCE, guarded by Ariel

The eight pillars bound together in a half-circle around the ninth, the pillar of balance, that stands in the center between them all and holds them all together.

The suffix of the Guild, [NinE] comes from the number of the pillars, its as simple as that.

So we started the Guild. We tried to make it work but members that we invited left us after a couple of days or were very inactive eventually we gave up. We dumped NinE and considered it a failed project. After going through multiple guilds it was the same everywhere: people weren't as nice as you would have hoped and something was always missing, maybe an idea, a concept, something to bind the players together in one incredible experience. Around a month ago we started talking about bringing it back and today, on the eighth of June 2008 the Guild finally got its resurrection!
We joined the Universe in Exile alliance and are now proud members of it.

Now, we are far more experienced, we seek members who will dedicate some time to this Guild, to help us build a community that will be bound together as the pillars themselves.

Currently, the guild is mainly PvE with occasional Ab-ing here and there, and a desire for GvG.
In game, make sure you do not spam the alliance chat, do not beg in Guild\Alliance chat, do not trade in alliance chat, do not swear in guild\alliance chat. Except for those minor limitations which are there to make the community better and more pleasant for all, just have fun. Help out Guildies and Alliance members when you can and\or want to.
