Venatio Illuminata was founded in 2005 as the "Exiled Vanguard of Illumination" by player Keilious Ahruhk. The first member, and effective co-founder was player Ardan Kell. The guild was intended as invitation-only place for intelligent players to gather, especially those who typed with correct spelling and punctuation. The original guild's tag [EVIL] drew negative attention from the community, due to similarities with the highly ranked The Last Pride, whose tag was [EvIL]. This led to the rebirth of the guild as Venatio Illuminata, its tag an anagram of EVIL. The original meaning of the guild's name is also carried on, the new name translating roughly as "The Illuminated Hunt". Venatio Illuminata is a small guild of players from the pacific region.
Recruitment
Venatio Illuminata is strongly opposed to active recruitment, with most new members gaining access to the guild by invitation. However any intelligent players from the Australian timezones requesting to join the guild will be accepted.
