Discussion[edit]

While I'm not necessarily convinced that an arb com is really the way to go, I would have to agree with much of what Lania has posted. Kaisha does make a lot of decent contributions to the wiki, but at the same time, she creates a lot of drama with her combative attitude, and her absolute refusal to heed advice. Her attempts to correct grammar are at best tolerable, but her interpretation of GWW policy and her tendency to wikilawyer everything based on her "experience on other wikis" is not constructive, and has alienated pretty much everyone she has had interaction with here. While I agree that she has good intentions, her implementation is flawed and she shows little if any willingness to change. She has already been blocked 4 times in 8 weeks, and had previously been blocked 5 times on her alt account Ariyen (talkcontribslogsblock log). This disruptive behavior began 5 months after she started editing here and has been escalating since. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 18:45, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

I don't believe Ariyen would heed the rulings of an ArbComm anyway, making this a waste of time. I say perma-block and be done with it, as per Pling. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 19:31, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
You do realise that is a possible outcome? Misery 11:07, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
Pling perma-banned her once but it was overturned by Aiiane since there wasn't any sysop consensus on it. But when she was given a second chance it's as if she threw it all back on the buracrats's and sysops's faces with her behavior. I don't think she is a bad person or is even trying to cause drama in the first place...I really believe that at the core she really is a good person. I wish I can help her as I do think she might have mild to moderate borderline and/or histrionic personality disorder. I don't want to write here how I came to that conclusion since that will be a wall of text, but I do have a close friend with mild borderline personality disorder and I can assure you that if Kaisha does have BPD, everything that's happening here is probably making her disorder worse. We can suggest her to get professional help but we have no recourse to force her to do so. It's really up to her friends and family to force her to get some help since it's very rare for someone with any personality disorder to get help on their own. --Lania ElderfireUser Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg 17:21, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
Try to keep discussion here about the case and evidence thereof, don't branch out into real-life therapy and pleas to friends and family to take her to a psych ward. It's a noble cause and all that jazz, but it really has nothing to do with this arbcomm case. If a person has a disorder that prevents them from meshing with a community and they aren't taking care of it, it's the sysop team/bcrat board's jobs to basically remove that person from the community, not provide social services. -Auron 17:36, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
I agree. There is nothing we can do for her and the best thing for her and for the wiki is to part ways. Also I would suggest to keep the tone and language of the discussion as neutral and non-confrontational as possible to minimize the likelihood of her possibly harming herself in the arbcomm process.--Lania ElderfireUser Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg 18:08, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
A disorder is not an excuse for one to behave badly or being emotionally detrimental to one's self or others regardless of the situation, believe me. Your advice to keep a certain amount of neutrality and civility in this discussion is sound, however. Regardless of how this turns out, I'm personally going to refrain from forming any decisions until Kaisha comes off of her block to allow her time for a say. From my observations, I will point out that there are a lot of users that make no positive contributions at all, are disruptive, fail to heed warnings and stay blocked a majority of the time, and a few are as well known as Kaisha. Something to reflect on is why this user was singled out and not other ones in the same category. — Gares 15:20, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
That would be because Kaisha leaps headfirst into the drama of the day and intentionally and happily rejects everyone's advice. And her poor grasp of English irritates everyone who tries to read it. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 18:07, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
I agree with Gares. Especially with this: "From my observations, I will point out that there are a lot of users that make no positive contributions at all, are disruptive, fail to heed warnings and stay blocked a majority of the time, and a few are as well known as Kaisha. (Reset indent) I have decided to take a break on my own, please continue as you wish. Kaisha User Kaisha Sig.png 15:15, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
