Halloween Art Contest (2009)
Official Rules and Conditions: Put your imagination and talent to work by crafting Halloween art with a Guild Wars® theme! Help us celebrate the autumn season with the Guild Wars community by entering our fifth annual Halloween Art Contest before 12:00 Noon PDT, October 23, 2009!
How to Enter:
Create a Guild Wars themed concept and bring it to life!
Some suggestions:
- Carve a pumpkin or create a template for other pumpkin carvers.
- Create a costume by hand or on the computer.
- Make your own costume and model it in a photograph.
- Design a Guild Wars Halloween desktop image or wallpaper.
- Put your culinary skills to work! Decorate a cake, bake some cookies, compose a menu, or build an edible haunted house.
- Decorate your home in a Guild Wars theme.
- Find your own unique way to bring a Halloween twist to Guild Wars, or to bring a Guild Wars twist to Halloween.
Prizes[edit]
Prizes: 20 winners (3 Top Winners, 7 Winners, and 10 Honorable Mentions) will receive one of the prizes below. The 3 Top Winners, 7 Winners, and 10 Honorable Mentions will also have their creations displayed on the Guild Wars website. (The total estimated retail value of all prizes is approximately $140 US. Cash alternatives are not available.) The prizes are as follows:

- One The Art of Guild Wars 2 Book, signed by members of the Guild Wars 2 development team.
- One randomly selected, signed Guild Wars Penny Arcade Expo 2008 art print.
- One in-game digital item: a Mad King’s Guard Miniature. The Guild Wars Halloween Art Contest 2009 marks the introduction of the brand new Mad King’s Guard Miniature.
