Inscription/Research
"Show me the money!"[edit]
How does this inscription exactly change the weapons' value? Is there a fixed enhancement, a specfic formula?
You may add your data in this table. What you need is a "Show me the money!" inscription, a inscribable weapon and either a Expert Salvage Kit, or for a saver performance if it is done repeatedly, a Perfect Salvage Kit.

- *%: Diffrence shown in percent. ( Stating how much the value percentually increased with mfm compared to the regular one [Formula: value with smtm/(value without/100)-100. Formula for percentual part of regular value compared to that with smtm (currently not used): value without/(value with smtm/100)]
- 2: Items without value can be identified once, though this won't be visible unless they become upgraded with Smtm.
- 3: Item couldn't be sold to merchant despite blue "Sell"-Botton and warning message for being equipped. (The Wintergreen Shield likely can't be sold as well.
Observations[edit]
- And identified weapon will always have the same increased value with Smtm, even if it gets removed and reapplied.
→ Value is not applied at random.
- By contrast, the same inscription used to repeatedly upgrade the according item gets a different value when identified.
→ If an identified upgrade becomes applied to the according item and becomes salvaged from this item afterwards, it will "forget" that i was once identified and may be identified again. The item can get another value than it had before. (Note: This has also been observed for Runes)
- With increasing basic value, the enhancement with smtm decreases.
→ Formular has included the item's value.
Gold diffrence in amount has had four constant numbers so far: 55 , 63 and 74 and 75 .- Despite having the same value, some weapons get a higher one with smtm than others. (example: there were two items with an value of 400 . one of them increased with inscription by 55 , the other by 74 )
→ value is likely not defined at random and dependant from item. This could possibly only be viable for weapons that are not found from mosters, e.g. for quest rewards.
- Weapon rarity and attribute requirement is seemingly independant from the enhancement.
- *Observations written in purple font aren't actually related to the value research of the Smtm inscription, as it states behavior of upgrade components in general.
Independant Research Results - This is how it really works:[edit]
- "Show me the money!" inscription works almost exactly like every other upgrade part with a variable modifier, it just has an invisible property line which says "Value +XX gold", and all it does is increasing the gold value of any item it's on or value of itself by that fixed amount.
- For example a "Value +68 gold" one will increase the value of any item it's put on by 68.
- The value increase property ranges from +50 to +75
- The value increase depends on rarity of the item it was originally found on:
- Blue - +50..62
- Purple - +62..70
- Gold - +71..75
- There might be a +70 from gold item or +71 from purple possible, although not observed.
- +75 ones are exceptionally rare compared to +74 or +73 which are of equal rarity.
- The gold value of the inscription itself after salvaging and identifying is the base variable 26..50 increased by it's own fixed "Value +XX gold" mod, so for example a "Value +71" one can have it's gold value ranging from 97 to 121
- Putting it on a weapon and salvaging again resets only the variable 26..50 value just like it does on every other inscription or mod. Salvaging doesn't change the "Value +XX gold" modifier, just like it doesn't change for example "Armor +9 (vs. Cold)" inscription.
