Talk:Artisan
Can someone add the silk to the list of "all" offered materials? Etienne 14:58, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Naming[edit]
All the artisans I have ever encountered, and I have not encountered them all, always have the [Materials} tag in the name. Why are thay called Artisans? LeFick 01:16, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
Suggestion for a change in layout[edit]
I would like to suggest a change in the layout of this page. I would like to see something more like this as one of 4 separate pages that would be linked to this one. My reasons for proposing this change are: 1) Having the only the icons of the rare material in the artisan/location table, but not in the materials needed table make it very difficult to determine which crafted material requires what to be made 2) By setting up the Materials required table separately, it makes it difficult to cross link artisans to Campaign specific pages. 3) Having the Materials Required table displaying the Rare Materials in a different order than the artisan/location table makes it doubly confusing. (most minor point as the order is easily fixed, but still valid as the page stands). I'd like your comments, alternatives, arguments please. -- Wynthyst 23:22, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thats pretty good. When you say 4 pages, you referring to each of the 4 games? LeFick 02:32, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

- I prefer the existing layout. The newer tables are bloated and more difficult to read. I believe the information is already provided here in a more than adequate manner. Changing the layout would negatively affect users with smaller resolutions. Adding the icons to the "All offered materials" section would be fine, except that the information probably shouldn't be there anyway. This is just meant to be about artisans, not about the components required to craft rare materials. :P - BeX 14:16, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Conveniently located artisans[edit]
Xue Yi & Shinichiro are conveniently located in outposts, but they don't make everything; Kainu makes the things they don't and is next most conveniently located, a few Zhed-lengths away from an outpost.--War_Pig5 22:08, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- Easiest way to get Deldrimor Steel Ingots is from Shalgrim Stonehart located in Varajar Fells just outside Battledepths, which in turn can be conveniently reached from the Central Transfer Chamber. --Kur Nt 93.222.242.233 21:04, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
