Split[edit]

While lorewise, these two units are the same, seperated by just time, by game mechanics they are different. They don't share model, alligence, world, location, skill set and levels. Backsword 12:42, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Well... as far as I can tell... first, it was the Ascalon Guard... with it's own skin and quotes... Then, it became split... the Old Ascalon Guard and the Ebony Guard... So I would agree with this. three similar skins, two of them with the same name, but different NPCs with different sets of quotes. MithranArkanere 00:35, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
I think splitting up the two guard would be good.. I noticed today in Ascalon Post that the guard said something around the lines of "I have killed eight charr's today! if I kill 2?3? more I beat Horace's score! and Horace is a post-ascalon NPC. ♥LadyTemp♥ 22:35, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
I've been clicking on him for awhile and he likes to talk A LOT about post-searing and how it's been 2 years since the slaying.. I would add all the new quotes but.. there's a lot of them... >< ♥LadyTemp♥ 22:39, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
There are plenty of those quotes, and their models are different. If no one is against this, soon me (or anyone else) should split them. Oh... wait... their WORLDS are different. They should not. They MUST be separated. They are Human - Ascalon Army - Prophecies and Human - Ascalon Army - pre-Searing. Completely different NPCs. MithranArkanere 19:38, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Extra Quote[edit]

"I like that young Prince Rurik. He's got his head on straight, if you ask me."
"I used to be a musician before the Searing. Played for the king a few times, even."

I lifted these quotes from the article as in over several hundred tries, I could not get the pre-searing guard to say it. LeFick 01:03, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

Images[edit]

There is no need to put them all the possible weapons they may carry, since in most cases that is just random. Instead of that, I'll pick a Male and a Female only. If there are no Female pre-Searing Ascalon Guards, there is no need to put more than one image. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 15:38, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Guard Gender Confusion[edit]

I noticed the guard male or female say the quote about what there wife was wearing the day of the searing...any ideas?Perhaps Lesbian Guards?
