Definitely my favorite form as far as appearance goes. --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 17:16, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

It is indeed the most elegant. Too bad it's actual usefulness is minimal. Lyssa is a good runner-up as looks go. VanguardUser-VanguardAvatar.PNG17:19, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
I don't know, I find this form to be quite useful. its almost like a wammo without the wammo. combine it with victorious sweep, and you have decent health gain per hit, hex removal per skill used, and a freaking awesome form appearance to go with it. Just my opinion though. I like Melandru next to this, but melandru is too high of an energy cost for me >.< 06:25, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
It's useful if the meta happens to be hex pressure as this totally destroys that and gives ya some decent healing if you can spam skills. not to mention it makes some hexes like diversion and empathy useless on you. Also very usefull in hex heavy parts of pve. --Lou-SaydusHow dare you put that damned dirty thing on me! 17:17, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
With D/Mo it's very easy to tank up by spamming skills, with the cheap 1/4 second self-enchants. Say you have 12+3 in Mysticism, 12 in scythes, and the remaining 6 points in Protection Prayers, then Reversal of Fortune is free, and heals for 103 every 2 seconds: 60(Form's effect) +28(the spell's effect) +15(Mysticism bonus). If you alternate attack - RoF - attack - RoF, that's 163 healing every 2 seconds.

In PvE, this form seems to outclass Balthazar's (which is likely to be the most popular one) for the speed buff is something between nice but not desired and useless, holy damage does not yield any profit most of the time and armor bonus (though not that much) can easily acquired through Conviction/Great Dwarf Armor. Noctarch 02:57, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

I think this is the best form for PvE. For running, Baltz is best, and the only major place where there is an exception to this is in the Desolation. I also like the looks of the form =D Muulka the Great 10:28, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

'this avatar is extremely useful in PvP blabla' no it's not, avatars are generally a waste in pvp.. i rly want to remove that vote lol 78.20.153.111 14:57, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

I've removed it. You rarely see Dwayna in PvP as it is, and a generic note like "this skill is useful!" just doesn't quite cut it. --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 19:25, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Would this work for a sacrifice build? In PvE, I think a D/N could be very good - enter the form, use a cheap Curses skill (or get a hero to do it) and then spam [Necrosis] and fast-cycling skills with light sacrifice costs - Wallow's Bite, Touch of Agony and Blood of the Aggressor. Gain about 120 health and hit for about 230 every 3.5 seconds, for only 10 energy. Give your heroes some smammable enchantments like Reversal of Fortune to play on you for energy gain, and you'd be good to tank on forever.Hollowboy 12:38, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Would work, but I'm so not convinced by the damage output. Also, downtimes, unless you run it yourself and have Eternal Aura. ---Chaos- 07:37, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
For best effect, you'd have to run it yourself - heroes don't get Necrosis. I've been trying this form with spammable skills. With the sacrifice costs, the total self-heal is lower than I thought (unless you tried lowering your health with runes), but the damage is right.
Damage:
80 every 2 seconds, 1.0 activation --> Necrosis (Sunspear Rank 7)
50 every 3 seconds, 1.0 activation --> Blood of the Aggressor
50 every 3 seconds, .75 activation --> Wallow's Bite
50 every 3 seconds, .75 activation --> Touch of Agony
...That's 230 damage in 3.5 seconds. For a slight increase, put Necrosis into the chain twice (before and after Blood of the Agressor), and go for a higher SS rank.

The problem with your math is that you havnt included after cast. 5.75sec by my math and excluding any continued casting after the last skill in your chain. Thats exactly 40dmg per second, not impresive by anyones standard...even iw with an ias makes this look sad. I do commend the idea though since it is very creative. Hawt[edit]

Isnt it? - Wuhy User Wuhy sig.jpg 18:45, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

I used to think so, gets olds looking at a sexy smurf though. Justice 09:11, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

...I'd still hit that.

Empathy[edit]

Will using an attack skill remove Empathy before the attack connects? Or will I still suffer damage? --Aldarik 21:42, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

"Hex removal happens upon skill activation, preventing the top hex from taking effect on the skill being used. For example any attack skills will not suffer a miss chance if Blurred Vision was removed." Took that note directly from the page. Substitue Blurred Vision for empathy. Justice 18:52, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Hmm. Seems like I need to read more. --Aldarik 00:04, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

5 energy[edit]

Lowest costing form, why so? -/-I'm not asking to change it or bashing the cost, I just simpley would like to hear input-/- Discuss 20:04, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Nevermind, i just saw Avatar of Lyssa :x Discuss 04:13, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

febuary 2011 derv update[edit]

Lets see...flash enchantments are going to be close to unstoppable, so the hex removal is a given. Teardown combos are going to keep that health flying too. I think its going to be pretty hard to put this avatar down in combat. Guildwarsrunner 13:24, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

You srs? This skill is shitter than before. I cant even run my D/A Dwaynas daggers anymore.--NeilUser Neil2250 sig icon6.png 20:55, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
I've a hero run Dwayna's daggers and it works pretty well with Whirling Charge and Shield of Force spamming heals and hex removals - probably just need to rejig your bar. Cirian 13:57, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Does this Heal user?[edit]

If I'm using this skill in PvP and an enchantment ends on me do I get healed or only party members around me? Justice 09:11, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

I think you meant "If I'm using this skill in PvE", right.
I don't have access to GWs on this computer, so I can't test it right now, but I am 98% sure it heals yourself as well as allies. If it wasn't intended to heal the caster, it would have been written as "...all other allies in earshot are healed..." instead.
It is also worth noting that this heals allies, not just party members; as the page notes, it doesn't heal spirits, but it will heal pets, minions, nearby NPCs, and other non-party allies. --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 09:00, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
You mean Earshot as opposed to Nearby. Random Weird Guy 14:10, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
