Hidden spawns

Byzzr appears to be alone, but when you approach, several mantids will "drop down". It is easier to kill Byzzr first, by spiking hard, and then take out the rest of the mob when they lack Byzzr's healing and protection.

Easy Farm

This isn't exactly worthy of posting in the notes, but I figure here may help someone. He's pretty easily farmed for elite monk tomes in HM, if you kill him from the opposite side of the wall. Various builds work, and I won't promote here, so just general caster hate. Briareus 07:20, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

In HM he can drop : Monk elite/normal tomes, Scroll of Rampager's Insight and Scroll of Adventurer's Insight (as all bosses ?), Healing Ankh, Jug, Holy Branch, Gothic Sword, Marble Hammer, plus the other items, and probably others that i've not memorized. With Scroll of Hero's Insight we only need him to drop Scroll of Berserker's Insight (avaialable in Factions?) to make sure that he drops all exp-boost-scrolls. Paddymew 13:46, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Enemies like him make me hate HM even more. 148 damage from a stave attack!!!

You missed the point. I want to know why a MONK or a RITUALIST attacking me with his staff deals more damage than all the other bosses in that area, including Rangers, a Necromancer and an Assassin. 84.56.215.136 19:33, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Does anyone know if thiese easy hm bosses where nerfed? 3 days of farming and not a tome drop Seems that this is the case for alot of players ive talked with.

Upon attacking Byzzr Wingmender, several mantids will spawn.

They dont spawn if you longbow him or attack him from the other side of the wall, i'd guess they spawn when he hits you

It is actually a case of aggro. If you don't get close enough, they won't spawn. Same with, well, all spawning scenarios. -- Konig/talk 15:31, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
