Three or Two levels?[edit]
I havn't done it but in the article it says three levels however it is listed in the category of two levels. Dancing Gnome 09:33, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have just completed this dungeon, and it is a three-level one. I don't know how to change the thingy, though :x Saph 23:38, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Secret passage[edit]
Does anyone know where the switch is for the secret passage in the southwest courner of the second level? Light of Deldrimor is causing pings beyond the apparent dead end, so there has to be some way in there. -- Gordon Ecker 08:25, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, they could have accidentally put a Dwarven Ghost or Hidden Treasure spawn point in an inaccessible area. -- Gordon Ecker 08:15, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
connections with Ring of Fire Islands?[edit]
Many parts of the dungeons there look like somewhere in the Ring of Fire Islands (without the Mursaat part). Additionally, the Enchanted Swords wield Magmas Shields, which drop there in the last mission. The Wurms also look like Infernal Wurms. —ZerphaThe Improver 12:30, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
- I think it's just a case of re-used skins, or similair skins. SystemisFlawed
Preparations[edit]
Is everything fire magic down there? im just about to go and do the dungeonsoim want to know what im facing
- I wanted to know this too :) just a second ago a friend of mine told me he ran with winter and it was a breeze, can anyone else confirm this? or have any useful tips to add... T1Cybernetic 13:08, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- I believe the lavastriders do physical damage. A ranger with Greater Conflagration and Winter would convert all damage to cold if that's what you want. --Falseprophet 16:42, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Directions[edit]
Can someone please make a map of how to get to the dungeon? I've been wandering around Sacnoth for half an hour already. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:213.92.83.66 (talk).
- The dungeon is in the south-east corner of the area. And please, would you sign your comments next time with ~ 4 times? demonic barb 13:53, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Illsundur's hell[edit]
Is this a common nickname? If so, there should be a redirect. -- Gordon Ecker 08:43, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- Never heard of it, to be honest. --Arduinna 09:11, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Boss/Boss-like[edit]
End dungeon "bosses" are not bosses in the game's sense. You can not capture their elite skills nor do you recieve a moral boost for killing them. However, the smaller bosses along the way are usually bosses. This was switched around in the foe list, so I fixed it. So, if anyone argues against it they can change it back. 66.202.1.169 21:41, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
[sic]/Isildur?[edit]
In the quoted text at the beginning of this I see a bracketed [sic] which usually indicates a mispelled word that was originally mispelled in the first text... but nothing is mispelled there...
Also, who is going through the wiki and making all of these obscure GW references to pop culture? This boss is named after Isildur? Gimme a break. I know this is on the boss page, but I'm not sure anybody will even read this there. I even saw a henchmen article that said "You're breakin' my heart..." was a direct quote from Star Wars. It doesn't distract from the article too much, but it's really annoying and it may be one of the reasons why alot of people use the other wiki sometimes. Unless anyone has any objections I'm going to take these 2 things out.

How hard?[edit]
How Hard is this dungeon in NM, gonna fill a NM book then HM and wondering of any skill recomendations or team set-ups--Sam6555 00:23, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
- Personally I don't find it that hard. Most of my heroes had extra armour skills or Mantra of Flame at 6 inspiration points. With some decent pulling it is not a very hard dungeon. Just be mind full of the heavy spike damage some creatures do. ---- Demonic Cobra 12:31, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
- Because the boss reflects all damage he recieves, I actually left 2 damage heroes at the entrance to his chamber and tackled him with 5 heroes and myself, which I believe made it easier for my healer hero to cope with. I brought a smiter with RoJ, an interrupt mesmer with a bar full of interrupts, a Necro/Rit healer, a defensive Spirit making Rit and a Paragon with movement speed shouts. I myself brought multiple knockdown skills and kept Ilsundur knocked down more than half the time. There was no wipes in Hard mode for me in the boss room. I died more in Normal mode because it was my learning curb. Puk 06:17, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
[edit]
I will edit the main article, but here is the proof. This hidden treasure was found in a lava pool well beyond the dungeon lock, where two Infernal Wurms stand. It is just beyond the 4th resurrection shrine. --Rpger 22:12, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Overworld map bug?[edit]
Currently the overworld map does not display an icon for this dungeon, at least for me. This is the case for both NM and HM. Is this the same for anyone else? 24.58.252.254 21:46, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
Spirits Attack Those 2 Fire Orbs?[edit]
I've seen those fire orbs been attacked, look like Pain or Bloodsong. Would it be a anormal or bug? --TeaCat._. 19:14, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Southern route longer or shorter, easier or harder?[edit]
This page has maintained for some time that the southern route on the second level is longer, and for the life of me I cannot figure out the logic in this. At least if you don't need the dungeon maps at the top of the page (and, really, who does when you have the wiki map or tons of dungeon maps that you picked up as drops already?), it seems the southern route is a fast track to the dungeon key boss and the door beyond. Plus, the current edit has the southern route as posing hazards to melee characters because "there are a lot of burning surfaces." While there are burning surfaces on the southern route, I seem to remember no lack of burning surfaces on the northerly route, too, and in fact had more difficulty with my melee character on the northerly route, which is why I turned to the southern route despite this advice on the wiki. Especially for players who find this dungeon difficult, the choice of the northerly or southerly route could be a critical choice. I have explored this dungeon several times but at widely varying periods, so perhaps I am mistaken. What is the collective wisdom on the routes? (The way it is written currently, it makes it sound as if the fire traps and siege wurms are on the southern route as well, whereas they come after the door.)Sjhshh 14:37, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I've tried the northern route again and it was crazy hard compared to the southern route. Numerous burning surfaces and a right-angle where you have to melee a large group while many of your heroes are left standing on a burning surface. Party-wiped twice. Admittedly in HM, but still... What gives with the advice on the wiki? I have always found the wiki to be reliable, but it is almost as if somebody is trying to set up noobs or some such thing. I'll be changing it unless somebody can explain how I am totally missing something. Sjhshh 02:49, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
Fixed[edit]
Line said langmar was a dude :P
- May she rest in peace. Sjhshh 02:52, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
MAP[edit]
What kind of idiot did create the map? It's bloody mess, not helpful at all, don't do anything again omg. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.8.86.236 (talk) at 19:47, 1 August 2013 (UTC).
- The maps on this page are just showing where abouts you could go, Kathandrax's Crusher has a better set of maps. 77.97.208.117 08:34, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
