Talk:Chromatic Drake
These guys are beastly spikers. Nothing quite like getting rattled by 3-6 mind burn/blast/etc at the same time, with a Chain Lightning followup. —ǥrɩɳsɧƿoɲ〚₮/ḉ〛 05:30, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Attributes[edit]
It seems that their attributes are inconsistant in normal mode, maybe there's more than one version. -- Gordon Ecker 10:52, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I tested it in Battledepths, they always have either 16 or 20 rank of whichever attribute they're using. -- Gordon Ecker 12:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
- A monster with 4 good skill bars= shouldnt exist, lol--164.106.218.13 14:59, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Possible WoW reference?[edit]
In World of Warcraft there is a group called the Chromatic Dragonflight, and in it there are chromatic drakes. Possible reference? 86.131.196.167 14:54, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
no these drakes were originally a guild wars utopia ancient tech thing, but anet didnt throw away the idea.Hubbard 09:12, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Not really no, Chromatic Dragons are a Dungeons and Dragons thing, pretty much as old as the rpg genre, and Drakes are [depending on the game/book] either another name for dragons, or a type of dragon or a dragon like creature sorry 202.61.167.50 14:42, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Deville

white crab[edit]
Just saw one in the Raven's Point dungeon labeled White Crab. =P--84.192.9.50 18:15, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Probably just a Drake on top of a White Crab --Wingsy 19:33, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- There's a bug with creature's names being replaced with charmable pets in the area. There are several areas where this is known to happen often, and it has been around forever. Manifold 19:39, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- I see this bug very often in Drazach Thicket during DTSC runs. It happens almost every run. --Lania Elderfire 19:42, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- i dout every run,its mostly because people go there so often, that seems to hapen.--Neil2250 The Render Nazi 19:44, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- I said almost everyrun.... like about 75% of the time. It's pretty annoying cause "Tiger" could be high value targets like Warden of seasons that needs to be killed quick. The thing is I almost never see this bug anywhere else. I think it has something to do with having party members scattered all over the map instead of as a cluster in a small area of the map. I see it more often on the L, ML, and MR routes. --Lania Elderfire 20:03, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- It happens quite often in Thunderhead Keep with Jade Bows or Armors, with your party all in one place. Manifold 20:04, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, i did notice that... doesn't happen as often but maybe it's because sometimes people do end up a little scattered at the end? Sometimes a party member or 2 gets outside of the radar range from the other players, so maybe that has something to do with it? Anyone notice anything like that when people are running dungeons etc when people are outside of the radar range? --Lania Elderfire 20:11, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

GW2[edit]
Chromatic Drakes use the gw2 elementalist concept of elemental attuning should this be added to Trivia? 92.81.247.82 12:19, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
