I feel I should apologize for the dl, dt, and dd tags on this page. Won't happen again :P--VGJustice 21:15, 11 February 2007 (PST)
New Buff[edit]
Awesome! Finally some viable reason to bring a pet º• Øwn •º 22:54, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed! Excellent idea! Nice to have a free slot now too! :D Sardaukar 23:01, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Exactly - this skill creates a redundancy with Heal as One. If I want to run a Heal as One build, I still have to bring Comfort Animal, meaning that I now have 2 pet resurrects and 2 pet heals on my bar at once. Stupid. Something still needs to change. --Ninjatek 00:09, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- I asked Regina, she says she'll forward the feedback to anet apparently. Hopefully they consider it, otherwise HaO users gain no additional benefit to this update.--Sifo 00:10, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I dont think enough ppl would use HaO in pve honestly. leave healing to the monks and Comfort Animal, bring Enraged Lunge....72.183.202.229 00:28, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- I don't either, but they should at least consider it.--Sifo 00:29, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Id rather not have an elite Confort Animal, i think they should change the function of HaO to sumthing more suiting (like a Heal + a regen and res) or (Regen + DR?) i dunno, but i feel yall on the skill, it does make an elite a waste(if it wasnt a waste already in pve)72.183.202.229 00:32, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't mean to derail the topic, but just because people "wouldn't use" a skill, doesn't mean it shouldn't get adjusted or fixed. That's how we end up with useless, forgotten elites like Practiced Stance and Healing Burst. Then again, sometimes ANET blesses an already poor skill with a worse version.--Ninjatek 01:31, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! I'm the happiest Ranger in existence... I just got a 9th skill slot! (Techincally, just my 8th back, but i'm happy as hell) ~Aaron
- I need this for PvP, not PvE. --NeHoMaR 01:58, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- ANET you listened to us! Thank You Thank You Thank You! - SabreWolf 02:42, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- It took some years, but we got what we asked for! Thank you, thank you, thank you! --Lady Rhonwyn 07:37, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Now if thy just could add the same functionality to Heal as one, it would be a blast. --SkyHiRider 08:10, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Within a month we can brag to althe new rangers that "in the old days" we actually had to bring charm animal to get our pets with us :P AidanReed 12:18, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- ive always loved the idea of having a pet with my main char (which is a warrior btw) but could never do it effectively as it died to quickly, rezing it cost half the energy i had and i could never bring any usefull buffs for it like call of protection but now i can :D --Azreal of Skyrim 22:17, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Anomaly[edit]
Is void now. deleting 72.222.217.198 04:10, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
- Depends. If you haven't charmed anything yet or got rid of your pet and have it in your skill bar the anomaly probably prevails, but I won't bother testing it. --SkyHiRider 08:40, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Not sure the note about letting your pet die instead of using the skill for healing is accurate anymore. Its only 5e and at a moderate rank it is a decent heal. If you do let your pet die your skils are disabled which is certainly bad on an adrenalin bar but over all bad for anyone. Justice 22:24, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
