have they changed this skill? i seem to recall it stunning the victim, i used it against the clone you fight during ascension. am sure it stunned him. he just stood there for 18 seconds while i beat on him. dont think the skill would do that now. course this was a long time ago, ranger was my 1st chaaracter. No, as far as I know, this skill has not changed much from the way it has been introduced with Guild Wars Prophecies. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 14:04, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
I think it's where Dazed used to be called Silenced. and that might be miss looked as Stun or something.
Or other wise, that user must of had played WoW. xD Halogod35 20:58, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Wow, only that much damage? Getting shot in the mouth must do more damage that that =P.Hasaple 01:11, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Sigh![edit]

Oh my, even with high expertise this still reqs too much energy. I know this is a non-elite daze, but still... Spear swipe isn't 25e last time I saw! Ninjas In The Sky 15:14, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

spear swipe isn't 26 seconds of daze(considering you're using silencing bow at 15 marksman) Close Impact 18:37, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

oh and this isn't linked2primary attribute Close Impact 18:38, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Table is wrong. R12 supposed to be 17 seconds of daze. Unofficial wiki has it right :P --74.171.70.24 05:32, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
It seems to be an issue with the mathematical progression. No clue how to fix that. Krelus Derian 18:06, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

concussion shot>broadhead arrow Much quicker recharge. If using 12-13expertise its 5e more then BHA but its also non-elite--Justice 10:37, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

And requires interrupting. BHA is maintainable and you don't have to wait for them to be using a spell. BHA is still much better. 173.67.18.86 16:49, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Interrupts only if dazed[edit]

Just shot an AotL MM twice with concussion shot, both of them landed on death nova. But neither time the necro was dazed nor interrupted. The necro probably had infuse condition. Can someone confirm it and add an anomaly tag to the article. I have no idea how to do it thanks. -GodofJur 02:32, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

The Concise is incorrect[edit]

The Daze isn't dependent on interrupting a spell. The Daze is still applied if the target was casting a spell. I just tested this out with a bunch of Naga archers and Mantra of Resolve. Still got dazed through Mantra.(Japanties 17:12, 29 July 2009 (UTC))

It is correct, all interupts apply their effects even if they dont interupt. This includes all mesmer interupts. Reverting because there is no bug.--Silven 00:22, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Use in Fort Aspenwood[edit]

I just came to the conclusion that dazed would be a brilliant idea to gimp Turtles in FA (Kurzick). But, it takes 2-3 interrupts to actually interrupt a turtle using its cannon so: 1. Does daze actually affect a turtle and make its skills easily interrupted, 2. What's the likelyhood that if you shot Cshot just as a turtle used the turtle-cannon, and would still be capable of firing another arrow to inerrupt it?

Siege Turtle Attack isn't a spell; it's a skill. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 22:22, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
Lololol. By the way sign ur comments. The Emmisary 22:47, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

This skiill would probably be used if it was pumped to 15 energy cost and 8 sec recharge. It is too costly atm, imo. 88.90.74.105 09:18, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

No, keep it 5 recharge. I like being able to maintain Daze on ~5 eles while Gunther and the Gatekeepers wanding and the Spirit Spammer's spirits spams away all their nukes. Hint:Use with Prepared Shot Ox rider 10:50, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Quick addition to Synergy Notes....[edit]

As a possible note, I've found this skill often has great synergy with Needling Shot, especially as part of a utility ranger build (what utility ranger build doesn't pack some sort of degen?), which is very standard (rangers are often involved in spikes, which makes the 50% condition satisfied often). Is it okay to add skills with synergy under notes sections for skill pages? Thefinalwars 18:46, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
