Talk:Elementalist Elite Kurzick armor

From Guild Wars Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to search

I believe that the different faction-specific armor is only craftable if you belong to a guild or alliance aligned with that faction. First: is this true? Second: if so, shouldn't it be mentioned on the related pages that you need to be aligned with that faction in order to have the armorer craft the armor for you?--BetaRayBill 14:11, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

It's not true. You only need to have more faction for Luxon/Kurzick on your account, it has nothing to do with your guild or alliance. - anja talk 14:14, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
i thought it was whichever group u last gave faction to. i thought i remembered having more faction w/ kurz at some point but still being able to talk to lux b/c i had turned in 1k for jadeite. --VVong|BA 14:35, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
When you turn in 1k for Jade you lose all your Kurzick faction, might have to do with that. - anja talk 14:40, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
are u sure? i thought u only lost an amount of faction equivalent to what u turned in? maybe i just have poor memory. --VVong|BA 14:43, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I'm sure, I've never seen anything else at least. - anja talk 15:53, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
not sure why i didn't just look this up to begin with. haha. Faction rewards#Kurzick/Luxon faction --VVong|BA 16:13, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Hm, that article seems to contradict me. I need to check this :P - anja talk 16:57, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Your able to craft faction specific(elite)armor if you fulfill 2 requirement, one is have at least rank one in you (luxon/kurzick) title, second is to have more point your faction bar for the armor you want, so if you want luxon you have to have more points into luxon then kurzick and vise versa.--Metal Sazz 01:05, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Also, the original question being guild/alliance related does have merit because, if your faction in both Luxon and Kurzick are equal, (say, if you have 0 of both) then your alliance's side will determine which npcs you can talk to...

Expensive![edit]

At Amber Chunks 500g/e, just the mats for this cost 40k+, not counting the 60k to craft. In my opinion, this needs to be like vabbian armor - expensive mats, cheaper crafting price (maybe 10k/e?) Sentry007 User Sentry007 sig.png 18:13, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

I GOT IT!!!!! Sentry007 User Sentry007 sig.png 22:27, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Better Than FoW?[edit]

I know its a matter of opinion, but do any of you agree that this looks better than obsidian armor on the ele, at least for males? Valion Sentis 02:19, 6 July 2009 (UTC) HEEEEEEEEEEElllll noooooo

It is but hey, FoW armor looks bad for most of the professions anyway --Soulforged User Soulforged sig.jpg 12:42, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
FoW armour was made before any of the good looking sets came out, so it doesn't look as spectacular as it used to when prophecies was only available. BO6B 01:14, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Skirt Clipping[edit]

When my character runs her right leg clips through the skirt. It is slight, but it makes a noticeable flicker every step. 173.238.224.212 07:14, 4 October 2020 (UTC)Todd Factions
