I would use firestorm over this, any day. Readem (talk*gwwcontribs) 23:35, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Bug or wording?[edit]

Another wording that is not correct. I've posted something like this on the Talk:Avatar of Melandru too. According to the wording, Equinox should trigger on spells. However, when Arcane Lanquor is on the caster, Equinox triggers. It shouldn't according to the wording imo. Thoughts? BlazeRick 16:18, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Disagree. When Arcane Languor is on the target, and this target casts a spell, Arcane Languor triggers and the spell causes exhaustion. When a spell causes exhaustion, Equinox triggers and doubles it. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 17:05, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
If you read carfuly, it says When non-spirit creatures cast a spell that ALREADY causes exhation. Does'nt cause exation instanty. 22:16, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Yes, but the spell already does cause exhaustion, because of Arcane Languor. AL says "all spells cast by target foe cause exhaustion." Therefore, the spell that is cast causes the exhaustion itself, rather than Arcane Languor causing the exhaustion directly. Then you just follow the general rule of thumb that Nature Rituals are applied last, and there you have it... double exhaustion. Hope that helps. --User Vorith Shadow Ursan.jpg Vorith (talkcontribs) 04:08, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Improvement suggestion[edit]

Maybe this skill, come back to game with 25% casts its spell slower, or something :) -- 22:06, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

thats no improvment... the purpose of the skill is to punish spellcastors... and boy does it ever! *snifle* so beautifull, i think i'm ganna cry. this and natures renewel few other skills in the game could even begin to have such a dramatic effect on the battlefeild. 06:28, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Exhaustion is a dangerous and powerful mechanic, this won't be buffed, is still used sometimes with Arcane Languor for fun, but nothing more. --User rayd sig.pngRayd 07:10, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

I imagine a monk that cast twice under this and Arcane Languor would be a little annoyed with the -40 energy max. =) - Elder Angelus 14:11, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

Exhausting Assault[edit]

Does the exhaustion from Exhausting Assault trigger Equinox? Arachanox 16:34, 24 May 2008 (UTCN)

No, Equinox double Spell exhaustion.
Ok, thanks. Arachanox 18:29, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

The name[edit]

Is there any connection between the name and the effect of the skill?

Maybe some kind of late... the phenomenon of equinox strains and exhausts human mind and body. However, it is the equinox extended to a full year that does so. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 19:22, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
The only myth i found about the Equinox is the egg balancing myth :S --Soulforged 16:05, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
I referred to the equinoctial day between the Polar night and the Polar day. So actually those two "days" cause the trouble, especially the Polar day. That's why I said it is the equinox extended to a full year. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 19:42, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Arcane Languor[edit]

Does the exhaust from Arcane Languor trigger Equinox. Cause if it does......EXHAUST FTW!!!!!!--Ultima Flames User Ultima Flames Signature.jpg 23:59, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Plz ignore the text above. i didnt see the info at the botton QQ--Ultima Flames User Ultima Flames Signature.jpg 00:34, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Skill Capture Availability[edit]

This skill is not available to be captured in the explorable area until AFTER you have completed the mission. --Remlwc 14:49, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Ice imps[edit]

this skill would be pretty harsh on them :P Cactus 06:34, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

seeing as monsters in pve have nearly unlimited energy pools, i don't think so. 11:02, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
They don't have unlimited energy pools, they just have the extra +2 energy regen so this tactic would work albeit it is much quicker to just kill them with your less niche, overpowered elites. ZencowUser Ox rider Sig.png 03:22, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Secondary Exhaustion note[edit]

Invoke and Chain Lightning do not cause exhaustion under the effects of Equinox when enchants are up. I've removed the note. Feel free to post evidence to suggest otherwise. 09:28, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
