How to use

I've added the section on how to use, that I wrote for another wiki. I'm declaring this up front, as I'm sure some day someone will notice the likeness.

As this is the official wiki - perhaps someone "in the know" can finally tell me if the bonus from treasure hunter and wisdom title tracks also help with the chance to get rare crafting material when using this kit. Lefick 01:28, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm fine with leaving the "unknown" note about this, but I also highly doubt rare materials increase with higher titles. If this were the case, large supplies of common crafting materials would have been replaced with small supplies of rare meterials which, over the last year of working the titles, hasn't changed one bit. This would also be quite detrimental to my play if it happened as I depend on common much more than rare for consumables now. Still the note is fine until someone wants to do a long-term statistical analysis. --Mystisteel 05:39, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Acquisition

It is currently stated that any NPC out of tutorial regions offer this tool. But Post - Ascalon City NPCs dont. I was suprised since after maxing LDoA, I was hoping to salvage lots of runes and insignias I was carrying in my Charr bags only to find out the need to move foward a little bit more. Just checked and every other outpost and mission in Ascalon has one, not sure why Ascalon City doesn't. Either way I've updated the article to match, thanks for finding that. ~FarloTalk 19:51, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Checked Shing Jea and Istan as well, it seems that they're not in Pre or the first Town (Ascalon City, Shing Jea Monastery, Kamadan) that your character encounters. Champion's Dawn not having one doesn't fit that pattern, but whatever. ~FarloTalk 20:01, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Scarcity

i just bought a bunch in our town (Cavalon) and the price just rose to 320g each. dbl chked, yes we control it. "edit" they WERE at 200. ~~4 Tildes
