Suggestion: Second hand store[edit]
This is just an Idea, for those of us who would like a chance to get festival hats from events gone by. Add a second hand option to the festival hat maker. The availability could be based on players who sell thier hats, like a dye trader dynamic, but there is a difference. The second hand versions of the hats would be "used" looking. A dirt smudge, a chip off of an antler, the tusk broken on the deamon mask etc. that way, close inspection would still seperate the original masks from the second hand ones. Again, just an idea. Festival Hat Maker[edit]

Hi, Gaile! Happy New Year! I have a question on the Festival Hat Maker. When he was introduced last year, you said, that one should keep at least one copy of all festival hats. Shall I still keep them or can I delete them without having fear of having lost them forever?--Aljeun 19:41, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- You show a Hat to the Festival Hat Maker, and you then you can safely delete your Hat with the option to get it back from the FHM (lulz) whenever you want in the future. Hence the NPC was put in the game. BlazeRick 20:54, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I know, but I think I remember someone saying that you'd better keep one copy, so that if in the future, the FHM doesn't, for any reason, recognize that you have already shown it to him, you can show it again to him. - I don't keep my hats but after I show them to the FHM I always ask him to make another for me before I delete the original just to make just that it's registered that I showed him my hat. Lyra Valo

- I don't keep a "backup" hat, either, but I do exactly as Lyra Valo suggests, which is show the hat, have the Festival Hat NPC confirm he has seen it, then ask him to make one and verify that exact hat is on the list before deleting the original. -- Gaile

New hats[edit]
I was absent for the Wintersday finale, but my Festival Hat maker can make Ice Crowns and Wreath Crowns for any new characters I create. Very confused.
