3 levels[edit]

Should it be noted somewhere that there are three levels to the dungeon in the mission? --troy frostwind 00:57, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Should probably add something about if you kill the Inscribed Sentries/Guardians that it rids the area of the other foes. Laforge 08:29, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

3k reputation pts[edit]

i'd like to see a proof screen here. 3k would be way too much. - Y0_ich_halt User Y0 ich halt sig.jpg 11:50, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm quite sure this gives around 2000-3000 points, I nearly jumped from rank 1 to rank 2 when I completed this mission. Sadly I don't have a screen. Flechette 12:18, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

rank 2 only needs 4k. it's unlikely that you haven't been getting any reputation points since you were awarded rank 1. also, there's no other quests that give you more than around 300. or did anet intend to make the asura title easier to get? - Y0_ich_halt User Y0 ich halt sig.jpg 12:44, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

crazy. - Y0_ich_halt User Y0 ich halt sig.jpg 18:41, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
I can confirm that particular screenshot. Did it just now, and it (still) gives 3000 Asura rep points. Brownspank 14:06, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
As I recall, just doing the main storyline, I was a LOT further on the Asura side than on the other two when I was done. This may be why. MiraLantis 06:59, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

sin invulnerability?[edit]

I was just doing this quest in HM...I was a curses necro with barbs, and olias was my MM. I noticed that barbs was doing no damage on the skelk reapers. instead, I was just seeing a bunch of zeros pop up each time a minion struck. I looked at the bar they use, and I cannot figure out what was causing the damage to zero out. (this was happening even when they were the only enemy I fought, so there was no chance of another foes' skills affecting them. I don't know much about sins, so is there a reason for this? or was it a bug? thanks Vanessa 06:22, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Gadd uses Iron Mist, which makes them invulnerable to anything but lightning damage. Quite annoying, but seems to fit his arrogant personality actually. --Valshia 03:17, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
aha! thanks for the answer....and it fits his personality perfectly :) Vanessa 10:51, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, bring blood spike instead. I had put a note on this on Gadd's page but there probably should of been on here too. Backsword 07:12, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
The designers' idea may have been for you to have Vekk in the party, considering his default skill set. It makes sense with the storyline; they can't stand each other but their skills are complementary and work well together anyway. -- Tekn0mancer User Tekn0mancer-Awaken the Blood 19px sig.jpg talk 13:33, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

Map[edit]

There are 2 strategies of doing the first level. The map shows one but the walk through describes the other. Could someone make the map match the walk through or vice versa?

Run to the cave[edit]

No easy way, but the best is to angle right towards the big green tree. If you see a group of raptors in front of you ( not the group that sometimes appears to the left of you, run straight at them. They will stop, wait till they go again, and follow( dont aggro). They will always circle counter clock wise. When you get to the wood pile, go around the left side. Now you will see a brown path out in front of you, just head down it, watch the critters to your right side( again dont aggro). Then up ahead you will see another group of raptors, they always circle counter clock wise. Follow behind them and when they start to circle run past them to cave. I have tried this route many times, there are always little differences, but it is mainly timing that will get you there without dieing...good luck.If Dinos show up just before the first group of Raptors, then you got a bad spawn, just restart.71.169.112.16 02:09, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Deadly Death Wish

You can easily run your way there without aggroing anything, just keep to the southern wall... At worst there's a small group of maybe 3-4 Angorodons along the wall that you may have to fight but you should be able to handle them in both NM and HM, especially if you're working with s3monks like: Hero Monk, Lina and Mehnlo (which will be quite useful at the end). Closer to the cave there's a small group of Ceratadons but you can avoid those by just walking past them... -- 85.228.100.10 06:08, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

bug?[edit]

I got to the final room with a full party of henchmen and heroes after engaging the boss he latched straight onto me and started after me in mellee while i was running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to break aggro on him so i could cast without being pounded on too badly, then the cut scene just started playing for no reason i could figure out. He was still on about a quarter health all the others with him where dead or very close to it. -DeeAbel 00:13, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Maybe it is because Gadd needs to find out about the inscriptions. It may be a bug, or may be just a part we just didn't find out. -Shadow Form Slayer 00:01, 9 January 2010

Light of Deldrimor[edit]

Nothing to find with LoD here? I tried, didn't find anything. Maybe I looked at the wrong spots?--Cyberman User Cyberman Mastermind Sig.gif 23:01, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

It is a mission, not a dungeon. End of story Shadow Form Slayer 21:27, 25 April 2010

Missing my Gadd[edit]

So just before the final room on 2nd level, everything was fine and Gadd in my Party as Ally with Livia. But after defeating the Inscribed Guardian (and all the undead disappeared), my Gadd went missing. He said his dialogue lines but name in ally area became greyed out. Of course that was prior to my party moving over to the door/exit with the Inscription stone, so it remained locked and the door stayed closed thus unable to proceed to next level. FindingBloodstone MissingGadd.gif
Even back-tracked to find him but never found even this corpse on compass. Has anyone else ever experienced this??? Very frustrating to have to repeat the mission :(

Gadd seems to be alive by the look of the party list. - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 22:43, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
UPDATE - After having Livia "disappear" on my 2nd attempt in the same way as Gadd did on the first, I went back to the start of the 2nd level of dungeon and found her stuck at the beginning on the stair down right at the corner. So since she was NOT there to cast spell on Inscribed could not have gone forward to 3rd Level of dungeon without her. Since this can be confusing and effect users ability to complete mission, I will add a note/warning to the main page of article. Thanks! - http://www.v13clan.com/ 16:37, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Livia[edit]

On floor two Livia was renamed to Shining Blade Necro, weird. Dante Broekhart 16:43, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

You must have had a Livia in your party. Da Mystic Reaper 16:54, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
I think he is referring to the anomaly in the Notes section of the article. --Silver Edge 06:09, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
