Members[edit]

Considering the fact that Mike Z is an integral part of the Live Team, I added him to the list. Mike is our producer and does all our scheduling as well as managing the QA team. Technically, you could even say that the entire QA team and Regina are also on the Live Team as they are very much involved in everything we do. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Linsey Murdock (talk).

Is there a Dead Team as well? Bad jokes aside, could you expand a bit on the responsibilities of the Live Team as opposed to other ArenaNet employees? Just curious. --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 18:37, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

I dont think 3 people is really a team--76.97.6.195 20:33, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

It's not actually just us 3, there are a number of other people who could be listed as part of the team as well as a whole mess of people that work on Live part time. - User Linsey Murdock sig.jpgLinsey talk 18:59, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
When you consider the amount and quality of the content they have been pumping out I want to use the term army :P. 58.106.44.4 06:29, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
So, why don't add a category named "Part time members", Linsey? :) BigBlueUser Big Blue Icon.pngtalk 09:22, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Hey BigBlue, Linsey has a pretty good partial list on her Journal. At 40+, that is an impressive, Live-Team Army :). but seriously, perhaps also it be listed here as well, perhaps, no? MystiLefemEle 11:28, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Hmm, this list is verrrrrry long for this article. I don't think adding this would fit in well with the formatting guidelines. Maybe a reference to Linsey' journal? BigBlueUser Big Blue Icon.pngtalk 11:42, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Updated our members list, but forgot to log in first. That IP was me! - User Linsey Murdock sig.jpgLinsey talk 08:06, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

So I read[edit]

The notes on Live that mentioned the changes for the storage and the HoM and I gotta say I'm psyched, personally I'm hoping for increased storage, gonna end up getting 3 more armor sets for a couple characters within the next month(hopefully) and I'm really gonna be pressed for room...Am I posting in the right page? Just thought I'd ask, I just thought that since it's Lives' project and this is their page. Regardless I'm really looking forward to the new year. Weaponmaster 04:34, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

I am psyched as well, looking forward to the first of many updates from our Live Team :) Keep up the hard work, gang!! MystiLefemEle 11:22, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Live "Team"[edit]

The word "team" is deceptive. It makes it sound as if there are more than 2-3 of you working on GW. I suggest you change it to "Live Duo" or "Live Trio" since, according to Regina, there is really only 2 people still working on GW (or at least that's her excuse for the mediocre updates). 75.61.32.166 00:04, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

But "Live Trio" makes it sound like they're not giving enough effort to maintaining GW1 ;) --click moar Mafaraxas 23:07, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
The core of the Live Team are Linsey and Joe, but many other people work with them see User:Linsey_Murdock/Journal --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 12:24, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Ever a duo can be considered a team. Pkohler01 23:37, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
You guys do an incredible job!--Gungraave 10:18, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Move[edit]

Where was the move of this page from Guild Wars Live Team discussed and decided? -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 18:43, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

Going on a limb here but might be done to "prove" a "point" with the whole test krewe thing 74.50.118.90 18:55, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Well, considering that this group has always been known as and called the Guild Wars Live Team, and is referred to as such on many pages, I disagree with this move. I don't find the reason of "Redundant to have Guild Wars in front of the name." as being a valid or adequate reason to move this. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 21:09, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
I think it came as a by-product of the discussion at Talk:Test Krewe. Probably a "if i can't have cake, none will" move.--Fighterdoken 22:04, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Well, I don't think that is an adequate reason to move it either. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 22:06, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
As seen here, this was a move purely out of spite from an user trying to disrupt the wiki in order to make a point (which failed miserably, as the discussion in question was actually about how an user had moved an article without waiting for consensus to reach a decision, exactly as was done here). In order to avoid further waste of time with this attempt at trolling the wiki, I'll undo the move. Erasculio 22:44, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
A more suitable approach would have been to resolve the discussion (which effectively applies for both of these pages, considering their nature and their titles). Similar to 1RR for edits, instead of wheel warring (I think that's the term, i.e. continuing with more reverts/moves), we find a consensus, leave the pages as they are, and change if necessary. -- pling User Pling sig.png 22:51, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Brains, I would agree if there were any discussion. This case has enough evidence of falling outside AGF to assume that it was just trolling, nothing more; that may be seen on how actually there has been no discussion about keeping the shorter title, given how no one seems to believe it was the proper one. Erasculio 22:54, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
To clarify, I meant the discussion on Talk:Test Krewe, where some think the "Guild Wars" part is necessary and some don't. -- pling User Pling sig.png 00:06, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

Updates[edit]

I'm updating the roster list, as it's actually been out of date for quite some time. Several people have moved on to work on GW2, and Michelle is now a part of Ska Studios. I did choose to move people into a "Former Members" section rather than delete them, because I think it's a nice sentiment to recognize people for their previous contributions. John Stumme 18:17, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for taking the time to update it yourself. (Also: welcome back, congratulations, and I support the gesture towards former members of the team.) — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 18:20, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Should I update the individual members pages that are no longer apart of the live team? Kaisha User Kaisha Sig.png 00:17, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
