HM[edit]

Just a small note, do the afflicted revert back to crimson skull upon completion of factions? I think they do but I can't remember. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 22:32, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

I Beat factions and they're still afflicted Mikeferm 22:02, 10 January 2010 (UTC)'
Also still afflicted for me. Some player in Zen Daijun claimed the afflicted were replaced by Crimson for him/her. Not sure why there would be a reason that it would be different for different players. 85.19.140.9 00:28, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
The afflicted are removed with the completion of some Shing Jea quest that only Canthan characters can do. 24.197.253.243 00:47, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

vanqing[edit]

175foes, 58min, vanq/maping. This zone was a little more difficult then other shing jea zones. Crimson skull mobs LOVE dgen and ranger spiking. These arnt too dificult though. The monks are relatively competent. If you pull the crimson skulls properly then most mobs are 3 in size but you will fight 6 foes ata time with bad pulling and they CAN wipe your team. Naga spirit rift (certainly boss) should be watched out for but its an easy to interupt skill. The most annoying part of the vanq is the plant foes around the island in the lake. Mostly mesmers with diversion/hex breaker/overload. Facing 3 of them can put you on the edge and certainly drawn out fights is to be avoided. The boss mob needs to be taken seriously or you will probably wipe. Anti caster is good along with solid hex removal (to a lesser note condition removal). The skull rangers hit hard but are less serious then the other professions. Justice 02:04, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Nice aesthetics[edit]

If there were a poll for the most beautiful zone in GW, I'd nominate Haiju Lagoon. Rolling hills, mountains, islands, interesting estuary-like extended sea shore, detailed non-reachable backgrounds, the well designed lagoon itself, waterfalls, a river and bridge, moving windmill and small village, and lots more. I really love that place. :-) It was very nostalgic to revisit it for ZV, my last in Cantha. Morgaine 00:57, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
