Talk:Holding the Line

I wonder if there's some interference between this quest and The Apostate. After I killed all the enemies at the first spawn point, there was a group of 3 Forgotten off to the side that had not seen any fighting, but they did not budge and made no attempt to follow me. I'm pretty sure I passed within aggro distance. (Added: Strangely, the quest completed before the final 3 Shiro'ken at the second point arrived. Also, I wasn't quite sure if the spawns at point 2 came simultaneously from both sides or alternated, but you can make them alternate by switching sides every wave and intercepting the next one in the tunnels, before they get to the common area. Makes sure you won't get overwhelmed.) 67.246.60.56 03:51, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Quick Finish...[edit]

Interesting observation on this quest. I was just doing A History of Violence while this was active, and stuck around to kill the incoming mobs that spawn near the second bound soul (Kaichen). Funny thing is, once I'd killed the 3 shiroken assassins, Holding the Line updated to completed, as if I had also fought and completed the first objective; which I hadn't since I'd approached from the south and effectively done the second objective first. Might be interesting to try this out leaving from Gate of Secrets as usual, but just going straight over the bridge for the second objective and see if that finishes the quest too. Another pooly balanced area[edit]

This is just another of GW's poorly balanced areas. The Titans, for one, are just ridiculous. Even though you kill them they just keep changing into something else-just silly and gets monotonous. The whole Vortex area, and the Desolation for that matter, just isn't any fun. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.60.218.213 (talk).
