Quest information[edit]

Objectives[edit]

  • Aid the Keepers as they defend their position from Margonite forces.
  • Assist the Keepers as they fend off additional Margonite forces.
  • See Keeper Kauniss for your reward.

Walkthrough[edit]

The initial group of Forgotten are just to the northeast of the Gate of Secrets in the Domain of Fear (marked point 1 on the map) and will probably be under attack from torment creatures as you approach. Despite the need to save them, the party needs to be careful to avoid aggroing additional patrolling creatures as the team reaches the Forgotten.

The party will be attacked by several waves of creatures. The early waves will be made up of Earth Born Titans, Rotting Titans, Wild Growths, Wind Born Titans and Water Born Titans. Later waves will be made up of Margonites, and the final waves will be made up of three Shiro'ken Assassins. You do not need to defeat the Shiro'ken in order to move on to the next step of the quest.

After these waves have been defeated, the quest pointer will move to indicate another group of Forgotten over the bridge southeast of the Gate of Secrets (marked point 2 on the map), and the process is much the same: defend and defeat the several waves of creatures.

The surviving Forgotten from the initial group will follow the team to the second site and combine with the second group of Forgotten to provide some aid in the defense.

While the composition of attackers remains the same, the waves for this second group spawn faster and come from two different locations. Additionally, a small mob of Terrorweb Dryders can prove to be a troublesome menace, as they (usually) appear at the worst possible times.

The final wave consists of Shiro'ken Assassins, and, once again, you do not need to defeat them.

Venture into the Domain of Fear and assist our men stationed there. Take note of all enemy forces you encounter and return to me with the information."

No Decline: "Meh."
Ask Ask: "Our forces will be ineffective until you collect that intelligence. Go forth into the Domain of Fear and assist my men."

"You help was appreciated. Now, tell me what you have learned. Assassins? Moving in a coordinated group? Give me some time to think...this smacks of something I have heard of before."

Notes[edit]

Bug Bug.Initially heading to the second quest point and defeating all the enemies there will cause the quest to be marked as completed. Enemies will still spawn at the first point if one then proceeds there, although the quest will still be considered complete.
