Dyeability[edit]
I have been doing a lot of dye testing of these. In general, it seems that loot drop (from foes or chests) metal-skin Inscribed Chakrams from inherent source areas (Prophecies and Factions) will never dye, while the ones from inscribable source areas (NF and EotN) may dye. I can find no rhyme or reason to predict which inscribable versions will and will not dye. Most Prophecies collector Inscribed Chakrams I've tried will dye, while most Factions collector versions will not. LicensedLuny 23:21, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
- I just crafted a 20/20 Inscribed Chakram from crafter Telamon. It will not dye. LicensedLuny 23:21, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
- I just got a 20/20 Inscribed Chakram from collector Claw Tallfeather. It will not dye. LicensedLuny 14:38, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

- Q9 gold insc merch value 312g from locked chest lvl 2 of bloodstone caves near skeletons can be dyed. I wonder if even anyone at a-net can explain the random dyeability of certain items? Durp da durp (talk) 23:02, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
