Inventory Image[edit]
I'd like to align the image to the right of the list, but don't know how. If anyone can do this for me, you have my thanks. -Eldin 14:47, 11 February 2007 (PST)
- please remake the image on a pvp character --FireFox 14:53, 11 February 2007 (PST)
- Sorry, but at this time my character slots are all full and I currently cannot get any more. If you still want this to be remade on a PvP character, you can either follow the number layout I used on one of your characters (by the way, I used Photoshop for the smooth numbering), else you can take a screenshot, send it to me, and I'll gladly fix it up for you. -Eldin 15:17, 11 February 2007 (PST)
Templates[edit]
Someone should edit the information about the templates because of the patch that allows PVE characters the use of both skill and equipment templates. -Ankurlal

Interesting...Bug...??[edit]
I noticed that during a few pre-searing quests (and other quests in on earlier in factions) that if my inventory was full, i had to repeat the quest (because i couldnt accept the item reward). No, i did not get any unlimited xp or anything, but it came to be a pain if i forgot to destroy useless equipment. Can anyone answer as to why?--Raph 23:21, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- The NPC will tell you if your inventory is full and you cannot accept the quest reward, and because of that, you can't complete the quest. You don't have to redo the quest, just take something out of your inventory, accept the reward and either leave the removed item or replace it with the quest item reward. br12 ~ 23:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I understand that but, when i couldnt accept the reward, it actually was as if i abandoned the quest. So it didnt let me accept it and i had to retake it, im sure its some kind of bug--Raph 23:38, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Inventory Management[edit]
Not sure if this is the right place- I'm constantly running out of space - I've got a full bank, and a full set of bags/belt pouches on every character slot on my account. I'd really, really love a collection of inventory management tricks and tips from the older players. Could be a subpage from this one.--Erom 15:03, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Inventory Limit on PvP Items[edit]
I have a PvP character loaded with several sets of armor and a few weapons, via Tolkano, and apparently, regardless of how full your inventory is (I have a belt pouch and 2 expanded bags), you can only have 27 PvP items in your inventory. This also counts any PvP items already equipped as I tried it after removing something. If you try to make another item from the PvP Equipment window, it gives you the message: "Your inventory may not hold any more PvP items." I thought this noteworthy but was unsure where it would best go. Kalus Kordosa 09:35, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
lag+heroes= disappearing drops? Really?[edit]
In the notes section, it reads: "(During lag, it may be possible to see an item drop tag, that swiftly disapears, indicating a drop that was targeted to a Hero.)" Maybe I've just never had this particular brand of lag, but I have never, repeat never! seen this. What I have seen, however, is ritualist foes dropping their bundles when they die, resulting in an item drop tag that swiftly disappears. I'm thinking this is what the user who added this note saw, but I'm looking for confirmation before I edit anything. It just seems to me that Heroes are more like customizable henchmen than computer controlled players with magic, disappearing loot. 71.199.10.77 10:00, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
- I've seen these hero drops. They really are fleeting, as in just a small fraction of a second and then they are gone. I think I've seen them half-a-dozen times in nine months of play. Cynique 16:26, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
About the bug.[edit]
Idk how it happens, but when I look at it, there's no cape. Either I dyed my armor, or it was a mesmer thing. →[ »Halogod (talk)« ]← 22:11, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Layout example image[edit]
I think the best image would be one with as few items as possible. You can't really tell what the slots look like right now, since there's an item in almost each one :/ The article is about the Inventory, not the items in it. - J.P.Talk 08:27, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- When someone makes a replacement image that features fewer items of each category (including Heroes) as well as text that isn't as large as a slot itself, I'll do the other good turn with a full thorough cleanup of the article (ala Armor and Skill), since I see there are some inconsistencies as well as general stylistic faults. Just drop a note here. | 72 (UTC) 12:36, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
- I Can make it, but I'm not exactly how you mean JP. Do you mean, like no items at all (just the plain inventory icon), or do you mean like less weapons in the backpack section, less ARGH! numbering, etc. ~Celestia 13:22, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
Revised image[edit]
I just revised my image from the one I hastily did when costumes came out. Let me know if anyone has requests -- I still have the source character, images and template with the fonts, etc. It'd be easy to change things. Renumbering, perhaps? --Emkyooess 03:06, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
- Very good, much cleaner!
- I would suggest having "some of everything": 1 or 2 heroes in the slots, 2 or 3 pieces of armor worn, 1 or 2 extra containers, a couple of items in the slots. Not chock-full, but enough that you can see an example of each one. e.g. the gold/platinum you already have -- it's not 0 and 0, it's 1 and 1, and that's how it should all be, I'd say.
- If you want to renumber it, I personally think this makes the most sense:
- Hero slots
- Cape
- Weapon + offhand
- Costumes
- Armor (incl. headgear, which is very much a part of the rest... The note can just say "headgear is toggleable")
- Character
- Gold
- Containers
- Delete item
- Item slots
- Weapon sets
- PvP equipment
- OR
- Hero slots
- PvP equipment
- Weapon sets
- Cape

- Costumes
- Armor (incl. headgear, which is very much a part of the rest... The note can just say "headgear is toggleable")
