Skill Icons[edit]
Why does it show the icons from the luxon skills as well on this page? - Damadmoo 20:09, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Because the pictures are connected --Primeval Talk 20:11, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah I understand that. But they really shouldn't be connected in this case. It just doesn't make any sense to have the luxon skill icons show up on the page of the kurzick ide and the other way around. - Damadmoo 20:24, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- i agree. a bit late, i know. but i totally agree. The factions skill icons should be changed. This double-icon really doesn't look very nice. also not for the skill icon template as well. I suppose to remove this, and add a line like this:

guest priviledges[edit]
You used to be able to donate faction to another guild if you were a guest of that guild, so you could do both Luxon and Kurzick if needed. When did this change? I don't see any documentation about this anywhere. --98.196.19.143 07:23, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- As far as I know you've never been able to donate faction to a guild you are guested to. You can do both Kurzick and Luxon title tracks, but only by learning skills, gaining amber/jadeite, or scrolls from the side you/your guild is not allied with. -- Wyn 07:26, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Interface?[edit]
I spoke to the Kurzick Bureaucrat and selected Raise Alliance Reputation.... This is what he said: Individuals may be frail, but in numbers, we find strength. For this reason, adventurers join guilds, and guilds join alliances. So too should an alliance seek a nation to serve. If your alliance is prepared to join us, send your Alliance Leader to speak with the Kurzick Ambassador. If you fight well enough, you may be given command over territories that fall into Kurzick hands.
Is that the interface of which the article speaks? If so, not much of an interface. I guess I'll seek out an ambassador and see if the interface emerges afterward. (Ralmon the Gen 20:21, 17 March 2009 (UTC))
- I see now, at least partially. I spoke with the Ambassador (right behind the bureaucrat), and pledged my allegiance. Now the bureaucrat choice brings up the following:
- In our official records, your alliance has 5,000 Kurzick faction, but it need not remain there.
- <your name>, you have 10,000 Kurzick faction available. Tales of your deeds have spread far and wide, and your reputation is strong among the Kurzick people. A letter from you would do much to enhance the standing of <your alliance name>.
- Proclamation of Allegiance
- I, <your name>, a true and loyal ally of the Kurzick nation, do solemnly declare that the heroic deeds for which I am known, I have performed in the service of <your alliance name>, an alliance dedicated to the preservation and support of the Kurzick nation.
- May the Great Houses of Echovald stand forever.
- Enter your name.
- I assume the 5,000 and 10,000 are variables since they are in green in the dialog. I don't know if this dialog will show each time, or just the first time after you enter an alliance. That's why I didn't just throw it onto the article. If any one knows more details, please add it to the article.
- Sláinte Mhaith! (Ralmon the Gen 21:05, 17 March 2009 (UTC))
Yes, those are variables. As you donate faction to your alliance, the first variable increases (always in increments of 5,000). As you do Kurzick missions or fight on the Kurzick side in competitive missions and Alliance Battles, the second variable increases. This dialogue only shows up if you have at least 5,000 faction points available to spend, though. There is other dialogue for less than 5,000 faction. Models[edit]
Who else agrees that Anet made the new model look idiotic and the original model was much better? 209.240.183.45 06:10, 15 June 2009 (UTC) Yeah not sure why they changed it, the old one looked nicer. i don't understand what the new one is to be honest... 82.8.227.172 18:44, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Christ almighty! They look like total wierdoes? U guys with me? Canarygeorge 19:14, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
Skills[edit]
I wonder one thing about these. I have a lvl 20 PvE rit, rank 5 in kurz, bought triple shot with ranger from GH, but still my rit cant get summon spirits. Why? I haven gotten any kurz faction with this char though. Is that the problem? mlw64
- alliance faction is account wide. If you don't have 3000 faction ready for use, you don't have it on any character. Just farm some more faction points. --Lania Elderfire 20:42, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
