Talk:Live Vicariously
I think this is MADE for primary Warriors, Sins and all other professions with a hight attack rate. No primary Monk would really use it. God I forgot to sign the comment again. Ninjas In The Sky 17:46, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- No good melee character would really use it either. Unless they're bad. --Mini Me 18:04, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Yes. We got to the fact that this skill is bad. Even if buffed to heal for 20-30 hp, the energy is better spent in WoH or an HB chain. Ninjas In The Sky 20:13, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Lol...this skill is awsome...it can be used to create a invinci sin, with 110hp, which will heal itself and deal massive dmg (moebius/DB), and with IAS (critical agility?) it is unstoppable...
- I think you might want to try out the skill or re-read the description. You cast it on someone, and when they hit, it heals you. I'm not saying the skill is all that great, but a monk might cast it on a warrior so that the warrior effectively heals the monk while monk runs around and dodges attacks instead of standing still to cast and getting whacked with a hammer. Cast it on 2 people and it wouldn't be so bad, especially if your targets dual wield daggers or have attack speed boosts, or both. Of course, that also means -2 energy regen... - Indeed it is. Your sin idea is good. But try on a dervish... 77.186.8.167 19:42, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Thats exactly what im doing right now in ascalon area. I cast it on stephan and run around healing others without having to worry about myself at such a low lvl. Those annoying skeletal bonds in FOW use that trick with infuse life.--Justice 00:38, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- I lold at this whole section. ~Shard 03:25, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
It works on assassins with vigorous spirit, especially with the chance to double strike.... :D user:familyofcinderpaw

Someone's a Tool fan?[edit]
I'm not one to get excited or even suggest references, but the skill's description and name make me think of this song. Considering Tool is pretty mainstream, I don't find this far-fetched at all. http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/t/tool/vicarious.html Not entirely sure if we need a "trivia" header for it. (edit: well, no, we don't need it at all) Vael Victus 02:20, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Or you take the name of the skill literally, where you "live through" someone else who is attacking, and you get a healing benefit. --JonTheMon 03:03, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Even though Tool is the best band ever, I don't think we need to mention the song, as it's just a cool word which describes the skill perfectly. --smøni 03:12, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Don't think trivia is relevant, the term 'live vicariously' predates both GW and Tool, and the skill in GW was around before the tool song. 203.219.15.44 08:49, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Beats Vampric[edit]
This eats Vampric.|Killer demon 14:49, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
- You mean vampiric weapon mods? This skill can be stripped, requires /Mo, and has to be maintained which costs 1 Energy regen. It seems meant for maintaining on someone else to get heals (but it is bad at it); Vigorous Spirit is superior every way.--Sensei | talk 15:45, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Stacking[edit]
can this skill be staked on one target by 2 diferant monks?
