Family[edit]

Cool. We're finally addressed with the honor that we have come to deserve. To the extent of being considered family to both Gwen and Keiran. I like that. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 00:07, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

Yay for Mark Thackeray--Mark, User talk:Markisbeest het Beest 06:58, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
Family? I saw that we were considered "close friends", but not family. Ah well. T'was a fun quest to do, that dinosaur was massive! Donutdude 21:31, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Cross-campaign quest?[edit]

so this quest cannot be done by people who dont have Factions and Nightfall? too bad cuz i have 2 accounts that dont have NF. maybe a way for ANET to limit access to the new paragon hero, like MOX was? -Sef326 00:18, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

This ques isn't needed to access SPOILERS(Keiran)SPOILERS as a hero. Lokheit 00:24, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
cool! i dont have time to do the new quests yet, so you can bypass this and go straight to the Wedding. i checked my HoM calc (i gots 50) but his name dont appear on it. is he HoM-able? -Sef326 00:39, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
The only answer I'm personally able to give to that is that I couldn't HoM him right after I got him. I take that to mean that he has different armor sets, but I haven't gone to check and don't want to waste my armor pieces before I know what they all look like. I also checked the calculator and he isn't there yet. If someone can confirm alternate armors yes/no that'd be helpful. 128.113.201.222 02:44, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
This quest is difficult to do if you chose to be Luxon and skip Kurzick side. Anet is apparently biased in favor of Kurzicks. They should be strictly neutral not make holiday quests favoring one side. Now I have to spend the whole night just getting Kurzick outposts I had no interest in opening up. Ramei Arashi 03:18, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
This is not a holiday quest. It's just released now. Your expected to have done both sides already, before this one. Backsword 03:32, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Gwen and Thackery have no connections to Factions. And I should not be forced to do quests that have nothing to do with this quest to complete it. Ramei Arashi 04:45, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
You are not forced to do anything, you can simply not do the quest.
You had to do quite a few Nightfall quests that have nothing to do with this to complete this quest, too. Things would be pretty boring if these kind of quests only took place outside of port cities. Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 04:55, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Mourning Veil Falls is a special location relevant to the Black Moa. Check the scavenger hunt for the moa chick if you want to know why. That's why this quest leads you to the Echovald Forest. You might want Kurzick and Luxon outposts anyway in case they are used again in Winds of Change. 11:19, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
In repect to ramei, why not just do the WiK stuff on your characters that have done factions, then you will have the outposts, if you dont wanna put the time in to get the outposts get a runner from harvest temple, since you can go up the kurz side from bottom straight to the outpost where you start the quest from.Spark-TBa 12:23, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Because WIK is not part of Factions and would have to take Factions characters to through Prophecies to do WIK. Same problem different location. You can't get to Kurzick lands from Harvest Temple unless you've done the Kurzick quests. That was the first thing I tried, turned out to be a waste of time. Factions outposts are locked until you do the quests or muissions that lead to them. Ramei Arashi 17:06, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Since ANet lets us bring NF and EotN heroes to Cantha and Tyria, it's reasonable that they require us to visit Cantha and Tyria to pick up a couple of them.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:11, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
ifyouchose to do factions with a factions char, and proph with a prophecies character etc then your missing out on so much versatility, this makes it your fault that your person doesnt have the factions outposts on your WiK character, and in repect to the outpost comment, as long as youve done the innitial kurz quest befriending the kurzicks you can go from the south up from harvest temple.Spark-TBa 23:23, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

Illbogas[edit]

Once inside garden, turn right and follow path of pop ups, itll be the path of "least" resistance 107.9.231.4 00:35, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

actually, i had to circle the whole garden, theres one to your right and two to your left once you enter the garden. 107.9.231.4 00:54, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
I just uploaded a map. Power WMElementalist-tango-icon-200.png 00:55, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
I guess you won't be able to get to these if the garden is nightfallen. So if a toon doing this quest hasn't completed NF then I suppose you are SOL until you complete it. 193.215.199.34 09:17, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

moa didnt drop[edit]

dont know if its just me but ive just got to the point where you kill the elusive black moa and he didnt give me the wings, this happen to anyone else?Spark-TBa 11:12, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

ignore my stupidity, i thought it actually dropped it :) my quest log has updated automatically, maybe a note should be added to this effect, i was running around looking for an item on the floor.Spark-TBa 11:14, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

Does it have to be done before the wedding?[edit]

Do I have to do this quest before the wedding or can I just do the wedding, get my paragon hero and then do the quest later on? I'm tempted to just roll through the wedding on all my toons for the paragon hero instead of doing this quest first but I don't want to lose the opportunity to do it forever. 110.32.15.110 11:20, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

you can do this quest before or after the wedding. --Dragon7 cape emblem.pngThe Holy Dragons 11:48, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
Not anymore. I just went to hall, this quest was available but not the wedding. So now this quest must be required first. NVM The Wedding appeared after norn left. Ramei Arashi 16:55, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Surely it is enough that the drop delicious, delicious meat. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.59.51.182 (talk) at 20:17, 8 April 2011 (UTC).

Does the new bosses drop greens?[edit]

I wondered if the new bosses also drop (new) green weapons? if so what are they, what are the stats and how do they look like? 82.170.196.12 00:02, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

As with (just about) all quest bosses, no. Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 01:55, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
