I see on the website that Guild Wars will be at PAX this year, just wondering if you will be releasing any information on what you'll be doing there? anything to do with GW:EN i hope? just a sneak peak we are all dying of excitement, plz Gaile Sneaky Take a Bow 21:54, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

PAX will be very GW:EN-centric. I'll be able to share more in just a few days, but let me just mention now that anyone interested in GW:EN will have a wonderful opportunity to learn more, first hand and in many ways. :) --Gaile 19:46, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

Oh, and they put me in charge of a large number of the party tickets, so we're going to have a pre-show contest and lots of fun stuff going on at the show, too! I have a goodly amount of swag saved up. Can you believe that someone tried to recycle a couple of the Guild Wars standees? I was shocked! "You just hold off there, EnviroBoy," said I. (Reset Indentation) I wonder: Could someone put together a PAX page for us? It would be neat to have a single point into which I can add more info as it becomes available. We have some info on the GWW now, and I'd sure welcome the help in creating a real page to bring it all together, especially with more announcements coming soon! Page is Misplaced

Is there a reason why this is a subpage to the main page instead of a normal article and not linked to from Special event? --Xeeron 09:58, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

No reason except my late-night hours and a small degree of cluelessness. What I really want, linked from the main page, is a "Live Events" section, and this could be a component of that section, along with pages about, say, GC last year, any info on the tournaments in Taipei or Leipzig, etc., etc. To be honest, my level of confidence in being able to construct and order that is pretty low. I have also created a new category for trade shows etc you can use, I don't think it should be linked from the special event page as that is primarily for ingame events, we can have a page for trade shows of the same kind of format though. Re: Delete Tag

Perhaps rather than getting rid of this and the 2008 version, it would make sense to move them to subpages of PAX? While they aren't really model articles, they were official posts by Gaile in the time leading up to the respective events, and I think there's value to retaining. Could also toss in Gaile's userspace I suppose. (note: personal opinion as an editor, not as an admin) - Tanetris (talk) 21:21, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

Didn't realize Gaile put them up herself, they're definitely worth keeping even just as an archive of marketing copy. I would agree that placing them as subpages would work, maybe also with the {{Arenanet_article2}} template prepended? horrible 00:49, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
