Pre-Searing Ascalon[edit]

Regent Valley is also part of Pre-Searing Ascalon. Should we create two articles? Poke 07:31, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

The same applies to King's Watch Poke 07:32, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
Pre-Searing Regent Valley. About King's Watch, if I remember correctly, even though you can go to that place in Pre, the monument is not there, so I don't think it needs its own article. --Dirigible
Ah, ok. I will change the template then. Poke 07:46, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

Vanquish[edit]

I went on my warrior (poor choice anymore)using pain inverter and asuran summon. I brought a spirit spammer, a necro prot/healer with extingush and an aura of the lich minion master. The first part was difficult vs the renegade elementalists. The n/mo brought extinguish which helped with the burning here. After getting past the initial part and getting minions built up, it wasnt too bad. I did this without a con set, but it would have sure helped in the beginning. If i were a caster of sorts this vq would have been a lot easier. Micro 04:42, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Only death i had was gwen on the renegades. If we have favor aim for the melandru shrine to help the vanq go quicker and smoother. I was worried about the grawl mass grouping, not once did i face more then 2 monks ata time and 80% of the time they had 1monk/1warrior. 135 foes 1hr. 15min was hunting for the last foe which happened to be in the tar pits. The part that makes me angry on this, i killed one within radar range before the 15min hunt... Justice 23:25, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
It was an easy vanquish. There is a spot in the riverbed by the westernmost bridge where a couple of grawl spawned and I could not get to. It was annoying but I was able to get into just the right spot to bow them until they died.--Kaine 07:23, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

strange lights in the tar[edit]

While running this area for Cartographer, I saw strange multicolored lights in the Tar river to the west of the map and saw nothing noted about this on the page. Has anyone else seen this before? Just noting that I was using Texmod.(I have screenshots if you want them) --'Mai Yi' talk 17:35, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

The tar has always looked somewhat like an oil slick, unless you mean something else? –~=Ϛρѧякγ AHHH! (τѧιк) ←♥– 18:34, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Definitely something else... I'll put some pictures somewhere and link them. --'Mai Yi' talk 20:07, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
Okay. I took some screenshots. It's like a swirling colorful animation in the tar. These are the screenshots: (edit) Never mind watch this gif I made for an example:

Hope you can find an answer! --'Mai Yi' talk 20:16, 4 January 2011 (UTC)
I've seen these before, I've always gone on the assumption that they are gaseous vapours being released by the tar. A sort of Will o' the Wisp. Spax 22:31, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I just saw these earlier and had to look around to see if I could figure out what they were. I didn't see anything. Spooky. Ifm2181 16:31, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
